THE GREAT TRIBULATION

The Book of Isaiah 24 is related to the Book of Revelation 6:12-17, Mathew 24:29-31, Isaiah 26:20-21, and Daniel 12.

All the above scriptures talk about the period known as “The Great tribulation” and the book of Daniel explains it as “There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then”.

The period of Great Tribulation will be 7 years (Even though The LORD can decide to shorten it), and it will start immediately after the rapture. The Great Tribulation will be a time when the holy spirit of God will not be on the earth (Having gone with the raptured saints into heaven) and the wrath of God on the rebellious inhabitants of the earth who had rejected Jesus Christ (Who had not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior) would be unleashed. The period would be a time of experiencing God’s wrath and the Satan’s evil since the holy spirit of God would not be available to shield the people of the earth from the evil of Satan.

It is the same period that the Devil would work through the Anti-Christ to establish a satanic system which would establish the “Mark of the beast”, which is the mark of the devil, 666. The Mark of the beast has been confirmed by the LORD through his servants to be RFID Microchip and he has confirmed that the infrastructure for this system is already in place and some very few people have already acquired the mark. However, its full blown implementation will be immediately after the rapture during the Great Tribulation. Jesus Christ has stated categorically that the mark of the beast is the mark of Satan and whoever receives the mark would be making an everlasting seal with the devil and he/she would forever belong to the devil.

During, the Great Tribulation, very huge earthquakes will hit the earth and that’s why Isaiah said in Isaiah 24:20 “The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind” and John, the Apostle wrote in revelation 6:12-13 “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth." He further wrote, in the book Revelation 6:15-17 "Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.  They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!  For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” 

Jesus Christ has through his servants (And also in Revelation 13:5-18) that those who will miss the rapture and will remain in the earth for the Great Tribulation will still have hope of going to heaven so long as they don’t take the mark of the beast even to the point of being killed (And they also have to repent of their sins and recognize Jesus Christ as their savior). But Jesus Christ has made it very clear to the people of the earth that they need to ensure that they go with him in the rapture because during the period of the Great Tribulation, very very tough choices would have to be made and it would be very very difficult to choose him then.  

After the 7 years Great Tribulation, The LORD Jesus Christ would return to the earth with the saints who had been raptured 7 years earlier and Satan together with his demons would be chained for a period of 1000 years. Jesus Christ would reign on the earth for a period of 1000 years. After which Judgment would happen in heaven and Satan, his demons and anybody whose name would not be found written in the book of life would be thrown into the everlasting fire. 

Those whose names are found written in the book of life (the raptured saints who had repented) would be ushered into the everlasting joy in heaven.

Jesus Christ has confirmed through many of his prophets and servants all over the world that, any moment now the rapture would take place ushering in the Great tribulation. And he is thus passing a final warning to the people of the earth to Repent and live in Righteousness and Holiness in readiness for his imminent coming to rescue the repentant souls.

Isaiah 24

The LORD’s Devastation of the Earth See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants— it will be the same for priest as for people, for the master as for his servant, for the mistress as for her servant, for seller as for buyer, for borrower as for lender, for debtor as for creditor. The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The LORD has spoken this word. The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the heavens languish with the earth. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.  The new wine dries up and the vine withers; all the merrymakers groan. The joyful timbrels are stilled, the noise of the revelers has stopped, the joyful harp is silent. No longer do they drink wine with a song; the beer is bitter to its drinkers. The ruined city lies desolate; the entrance to every house is barred.  In the streets they cry out for wine; all joy turns to gloom, all joyful sounds are banished from the earth.  The city is left in ruins; its gate is battered to pieces.  So will it be on the earth and among the nations, as when an olive tree is beaten, or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest. They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they acclaim the LORD’s majesty. Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear singing: “Glory to the Righteous One.”  But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!  Woe to me! The treacherous betray! With treachery the treacherous betray!”  Terror and pit and snare await you, people of the earth. Whoever flees at the sound of terror   will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened; the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is violently shaken.  The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls—never to rise again. In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below. They will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished after many days. The moon will be dismayed; the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders—with great glory.

Revelation 6:12-17

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.  The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.  Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.  They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!  For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” 

Daniel 12:1-2

 “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.  Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt."

Mathew 24:29-31

“Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.  And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

Revelation 8

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.  Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.  Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. The Trumpets Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.  The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.  The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter. The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.  As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!

REPENTANCE PRAYER

Precious Jesus,

I acknowledge today that you are lord and savior of all mankind, 

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin.

Please cover me with your precious blood,

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness

and write my name in your book of life

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
