THE RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

This moment in time we are going to share and discuss a very very critical issue and topic which The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit has prompted me to share about: The Rapture and the Second Coming of the LORD Jesus Christ.

The LORD first brought this topic to my attention on 28^th December 2012 when a brother from the United States of America wrote to me and asked a very very powerful, timely and a shocking question which I responded to back then, and the question he wrote to me and asked was: “Brother Kevin, I am a Catholic and as a Catholic, we have never been taught that there is going to be a "Rapture", but only the Second Coming of Christ. I really don't know what to believe and need some clarification. Shalom!”

9 days later on 6^th January 2013, in a mighty visitation of The LORD through supernatural dream; The LORD presented to me someone in the dream. So in the morning of 6^th January 2013, I had a short supernatural dream. In this dream The LORD presented to me someone. This someone I was made to understand that he was a Christian. This person asked me in the dream: “What is this that you have been telling people about very tough times coming to the earth before the second coming of Jesus Christ?”

I responded to him politely in the dream with a question: “Do you know about the Rapture and the second coming?” He replied: “No. I don’t know about it.”

I then started ministering to him in the dream explaining to him about the rapture and the second coming of The LORD Jesus Christ. Immediately I started explaining to him these two phenomenal events I woke up from the dream.

So based on the two instances above, I believe and know that it is the will of The LORD for us to share and discuss this topic today. So The LORD is going to take us through this very very critical discussion about the very very critical topic that I believe and know The LORD want us to share this moment and this is: The Rapture and The Second Coming of The LORD Jesus Christ!!! The LORD is going to help us get clarity on what exactly entails these phenomenal events.

When The LORD Jesus Christ came to the earth the first time and was born under the anointing of The Holy Spirit through the human body in Israel, He came so that eventually He would pay the ultimate price for mankind by offering Himself as a sacrificial lamb on the cross of Calvary so as to redeem and restore mankind back to The LORD God Almighty. During that time thousands of years ago, He came to the earth to associate with sinners so that he may show them the correct and the right path; the path of Repentance, Righteousness and Holiness. And that’s why The LORD explained His mission on the earth very very clearly when He was confronted with this question of His association with sinners and this is in the book of Luke 5:27-32 “After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him, and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them.  But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.  I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

The LORD Jesus Christ therefore came the first time (about 2,000 years ago) to the earth to make a clarion call to sinners to Repent for the kingdom of GOD was now at hand. In essence, He came to tell the people of the earth who by the way had all fallen short of the glory of The LORD that “Look I am the good shepherd, follow me and you will not get lost!!!” and that’s why The LORD Jesus Christ proclaimed in the book of John 10:7-18 “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—  just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

So The LORD God Almighty sent His son Jesus Christ to the earth to be offered as a sacrifice so that through the blood He was to shed on the cross, mankind could be purchased and be redeemed and restored back to The LORD God Almighty. This was the ultimate sacrifice offered by The LORD God Almighty; a blameless, sinless Lamb of God who took upon Himself the sins of mankind so that even though Himself He did not partake of the sin, but He took the sin of the people of the earth so that mankind who had by the way fallen short of the glory of God could now be restored and redeemed back to The Father (The LORD God Almighty; The creater of Heaven and the earth). And this is well expounded in the book of John 3:16-21 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.  This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.  Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

So as His “closing remarks” during His first coming onto the earth (about 2,000 years ago), The LORD Jesus Christ said the following in Mathew 28:18-20: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” And also two angels also proclaimed the following as a “closing remark” on The LORD Jesus Christ’s first coming onto the earth in the book of Acts 1:11 ““They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.  “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.””

So this brings us to the epitome of our discussion today, and this is about the subsequent coming of The LORD Jesus Christ to the earth; first through rapture and then later on through second coming. You will note as we continue with our discussion that The LORD Jesus Christ is meant to come and snatch away; take away suddenly; caught up suddenly those who have embraced absolute Repentance and living in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ. This is what is known as The Rapture of the bride of Christ. During the rapture, The LORD Jesus Christ will come and stand in the clouds (air) as the glory of The LORD and The Holy Spirit snatches up and then transforms the bride of Christ within a twinkle of an eye. During the rapture, The LORD Jesus Christ will not step His feet on the earth. The rapture will happen suddenly and The LORD will come expectantly (Like a thief in the night) and only those who are raptured will know that rapture has taken place. Those who will not be raptured will not sense anything until after probably some time when very many people will start reporting their lost children, family, friends, colleagues etc. And this will be a worldwide reportage of lost (disappeared) people. Even expectant mothers who will miss the rapture will report suddenly finding their wombs empty. The unborn babies will have been raptured. News channels will stop their programs to announce breaking news: “Millions disappear worldwide as Panic Sets In”

We are now going to go to the segment that will answer the question: Where in the Bible is the rapture/Caught Up/Taken away suddenly/snatched up/transformed within a twinkle of an eye? So we are going to take a walk through the scriptures as The LORD opens for us more on this mystery of the rapture.

(a) Isaiah 26:19-21 “But your dead will live, Lord; their bodies will rise—let those who dwell in the dust  wake up and shout for joy—your dew is like the dew of the morning;  the earth will give birth to her dead. Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the bloodshed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer.”

(b) 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 ‘“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.  According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.  Therefore encourage one another with these words.”’

(c ) 1st Corinthians 15:50-54 “I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.  Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—  in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.  When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

(d) 1st Thessalonians 5:1-11 “Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.  While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.  You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.  So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.  For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.  But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.  For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.  He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

(e) Revelation 16:15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

(f) Daniel 12:1-3 “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.”

(g) John 5:24-30 ‘“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.”’

You have noted as we were taking a journey through the scriptures that the main aim of the Rapture is to rescue the bride of Christ into Heaven away from the turmoil and the distress that will be on the earth after the rapture happens and this will be the Great Tribulation (what Daniel describes as “There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.” Then Daniel puts a disclaimer: “But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered”, meaning, even though a most terrible time never witnessed on the earth since the beginning of the nations on the earth is coming, but there is a deliverance: The rapture. Those whose names will not be found written in the book will not be delivered but will have to undergo the most distressing time on the earth ever since the nations began: The Great Tribulation.

Isaiah was also shown this phenomenal event:

The LORD declared to Isaiah: “your dead will live!!!” (The long departed being awaken) and the LORD goes further to emphasize this to Isaiah: “their bodies will rise (the transformation of the flesh and blood body into the immortal body as it’s taken up in the air)—let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy (The Rapture and deliverance of those who are alive together with the long departed saints)”. 

Isaiah further heard The LORD telling the raptured saints: “Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you” (Meaning move from the clouds and enter into Heaven for the door is now closed for them who had not prepared the way for the coming of The LORD to rapture His bride). 

The LORD further declares to the raptured saints as Isaiah is shown and tells them: “Hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins” (Meaning that the earth is to face a most terrible distress when The Judgments of The LORD are now to be poured onto the earth to punish evil men and the lukewarm Christians: The Great Tribulation. But in the midst of all this Great Tribulation, there are some people who are no longer on the earth, they have been rescued and delivered and are thus kept in safety elsewhere-The Raptured saints In Heaven).

As we discussed earlier, that when The LORD Jesus Christ came the first time onto the earth; He came for the Sinners to call them to Repentance. But during the rapture, He will be coming for the Righteous and the Holy who have already embraced Repentance. Later on, you will note that at the time of The Second Coming of Jesus Christ; He will be coming with the Holy people who had been raptured earlier to destroy evil and evil men and to establish His millennium reign on the earth.

In this other segment we are now going to discuss: The Second coming of The LORD Jesus Christ. You will note that after the first coming of The LORD Jesus Christ (which was about 2,000 years ago); there is the Rapture and then later on The Second Coming of The LORD Jesus Christ. The first coming of The LORD Jesus Christ, He stepped His feet on the earth and the second coming of The LORD Jesus Christ, He will also set His feet on the earth. In between is the rapture when He will not step His feet on the earth but will stand in the clouds awaiting the bride to be raptured. This stepping of His feet on the earth during the second coming and His establishing of the millennium reign is well illustrated by Zechariah in the book of Zechariah 14:1-10 “A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.  Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.  You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him. On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness.  It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light. On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter. The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name. The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.  It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

The aim of The second coming of The LORD Jesus Christ is to: Destroy and wipe out all the evil (The devil and The evil Spirits) and evil men from the earth and this is by The LORD Jesus Christ waging a war; Bring peace to Jerusalem and make it secure forever and ever; Establish the millennium reign of The LORD Jesus Christ on the earth together with The Holy Ones (The raptured saints and those who come out of The Great Tribulation by not taking the mark of the beast). 

This second coming of The LORD Jesus Christ was also proclaimed by The LORD Jesus Christ Himself in the book of Mathew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

From the above, you will note that unlike during the rapture when the people of the earth will not notice The LORD Jesus Christ coming to rapture His bride, but during The Second Coming of The LORD Jesus Christ, all the people of the earth will see The LORD Jesus Christ coming on the clouds with power and great glory.

Apostle John also saw this great Second Coming of The LORD Jesus Christ and this is well stated in the book of Revelations 19:11-21 “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.  He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.  Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.  On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords. And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.” Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.  But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Having discussed and shared the rapture and The Second Coming of The LORD Jesus Christ; just to show the people of the earth a glimpse of what is coming in this most distressing time since the nations began: The Great Tribulation, let’s take a journey through the book of Isaiah 13:4-22 “Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The Lord Almighty is mustering an army for war. They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens—the Lord and the weapons of his wrath—to destroy the whole country. Wail, for the day of the Lord is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty. Because of this, all hands will go limp, every heart will melt with fear. Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame. See, the day of the Lord is coming —a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—to make the land desolate  and destroy the sinners within it. The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. I will make people scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the Lord Almighty, in the day of his burning anger. Like a hunted gazelle, like sheep without a shepherd, they will all return to their own people, they will flee to their native land. Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated. See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold. Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants, nor will they look with compassion on children. Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the pride and glory of the Babylonians, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah. She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations; there no nomads will pitch their tents, there no shepherds will rest their flocks. But desert creatures will lie there, jackals will fill her houses; there the owls will dwell, and there the wild goats will leap about. Hyenas will inhabit her strongholds, jackals her luxurious palaces. Her time is at hand, and her days will not be prolonged.”

PREPARE THE WAY IN ABSOLUTE REPENTANCE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS, TRUTH AND COMPLETE SURRENDER TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH). TIME IS ABSOLUTELY OVER; THE MESSIAH JESUS CHRIST IS IMMINENTLY COMING TO PICK HIS BRIDE!!!    

REPENTANCE PRAYER  

Precious Jesus, 

I acknowledge today that you are lord and savior of all mankind, 

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin. 

Please cover me with your precious blood, 

and establish your word in my life, 

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness 

and write my name in your book of life 

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit 

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
