When The LORD Jesus Christ walked on the earth with a human body about 2,000 years ago, He did not directly reveal who He was, but He allowed others to declare who He was as they deemed fit to proclaim. That's why we find Him asking His disciples: “Who do people say the son of man is? After they respond to Him, He asks the disciples themselves: “But what about you. Who do you say I am?

After they answer (through Simon Peter) as revealed to him by The Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ warns His disciples not to tell (Reveal to others) who He was.

Mathew 16:13 '“When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.  And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.  I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”  Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.”'

Even the demons and evil spirits also declared who He was as stated in the book of Mathew 8:28-33 which states as follows: '“When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.  “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?” Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding.  The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.  Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.”'

The LORD Jesus Christ also confronted the Pharisees about what they thought about Him. He allowed them to answer and then He left them by asking them a question. This is in the book of Mathew 22:41-46 which states as follows: '“While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” “The son of David,” they replied. He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, “‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”’ If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?”  No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.”'

Also when The LORD Jesus Christ had been arrested and taken to the authorities, He remained silent about His identity when asked who He was, and He only waited for the people (Pharisees, the chief priest Caiaphas, Pilate The Governor etc) to declare by themselves who He was and only then did He replied to them: “Yes, it is as you say.”

This is in the book of Mathew 26:57-68 which states as follows: '“Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas the high priest, where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled.  But Peter followed him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest. He entered and sat down with the guards to see the outcome. The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death.  But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward and declared, “This fellow said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’” Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?”  But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.” “You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.  What do you think?” “He is worthy of death,” they answered. Then they spit in his face and struck him with their fists. Others slapped him  and said, “Prophesy to us, Messiah. Who hit you?”'

Also in the book of Mathew 27:11-14 which states as follows: '“Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied. When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.  Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?”  But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.”'

So it is very very important to note that only after He was crucified and resurrected and ascended into Heaven and thus finishing His mission to the earth did The LORD Jesus Christ reveal Himself to the Church (at individual level and level of the body of Christ) and to the entire world. This He did very explicitly and elaborately through His servant (Disciple) John at the island of Patmos, while John was in spirit. The LORD Jesus Christ thus finally revealed Himself personally to the church (Including the Pharisees) and the entire world. Concerning who He was.

So in the segment below we are going to go deeper in understanding who The LORD Jesus Christ is as revealed by Himself. (It is normally said here on the earth that only an individual can know the full and exact story about Himself; and only Him can share his full autobiography):

1Revelation 2:1 “These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.”

-Meaning that The LORD Jesus Christ is the one who sends angels and that He is their master. That He is the one who walks amongst the churches (Individuals; churches and the entire world).

2- Revelation 1:17-18 “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.  I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”

-Meaning that The LORD Jesus Christ has been given authority over everything; and that He has now been given the key to hell and the lake of fire and so He has got the dominion over everything in Heaven, on the earth and even under the earth (Hell and Lake of Fire).

3Revelation 2:8 “These are the words of him who is the first and the last, who died and came to life again.”

-Meaning that The LORD Jesus Christ is the Alpha and The Omega. That He has overcome death, and second death has got no power over Him. That all who believe in Him and follow His ways and requirements will also overcome death (For they will be raptured and those who died in Righteousness will also be raptured) and second death (Eternity in the The Lake of Fire) has no power over them; for they are the redeemed to stay with Christ for ever and ever and ever. He is the first born from the dead.

-The requirements and the ways of The LORD are: Repentance in the mighty name and blood of The LORD Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins; and then taking to the path of RighteousnessHolinessTruth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ.

4-Revelation 2:12 “These are the words of him who has the sharp double-edged sword.”
-Meaning that He destroys evil men who refuse to Repent of their sins. He fights the evil men and evil spirits and destroys them by throwing them to hell and the lake of fire.

5Revelation 2:18 “These are the words of the son of God whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze.”

-Meaning that The LORD Jesus Christ is the son of God. That He has been given power and glory and honour is upon Him.

6Revelation 3:7 “These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no-one can shut and what he shuts no-one can open.”

Meaning that The LORD Jesus Christ is Holy and true and that those who follow Him must be Holy, for: “Without Holiness No-one Will See God.”. Those who believe in The LORD Jesus Christ finds the truth, for, this is the: “The Truth That Sets Them Free from Sin and Bondage.”

That He is the King of kings and LORD of lords; the offspring of King David and greater than king David, that’s why: “He Holds the key of David.” He is actually coming to reign on the earth during the millennium reign at the seat of King David in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. This is well stated in the book of Zephaniah 3:15-17 which states as follows: '“The Lord has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm. On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”'

That when He opens the door of Heaven to His servants and children, He will pour out His spirit on them; the spirit that nourishes them, comforts them, teaches them, guides them, directs them, reveals to them mysteries and helps them (The Holy Spirit). When He eventually shuts the door of Heaven during the rapture of the bride of Christ, no one will be able to open it. Only through Him do people enter into Heaven; for He is the door into Heaven.

7-Revelation 3:14 “These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation.”

-Meaning that He only says what He hears from His Father, and that no one knows the Father except Him and that no one knows Him except the Father; because He is the one who comes from the Father to proclaim and preach about the Kingdom of Heaven and how to enter into it. That all authority of everything in Heaven, on the earth, under the sea and even under the earth has been given unto Him.

Precious Jesus,

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and savior of all mankind,

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin.

Please cover me with your precious blood,

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness

and write my name in your book of life

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Shalom!!! Shalom!!! Shalom!!!
