BUILDING A TEMPLE THAT THE LORD IS PLEASED WITH: A TEMPLE THAT THE LORD CHOOSES FOR HIMSELF AS ONE THAT BEARS HIS NAME FOR PRAISE AND WORSHIP

This moment in time, The LORD, Him who created Heaven and the earth and all that is in it, both the seen (visible) and the unseen (the invisible) is going to help us understand a very critical point. His name is The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The LORD The Holy Spirit.

The LORD is going to help us understand the meaning and the implication of the temple that we build. In this context, the temple refers to the lifestyle we live, the career that we partake of, the house we have built to dwell in, the investment project we undertake, the place of our worship of The LORD whether our own body or a physical altar. This temple can be your body, your soul, your spirit, your mind and your heart.

The LORD is thus calling upon each and every human being across all the parts of the earth to build a temple for Him; the temple of The LORD. This is a very fundamental requirement of The LORD for each and everyone on the earth. As each and every human being does this, The LORD requires us to go before Him in prayer and petition to Him to come and dwell with us in the temple we are building, so that it becomes The Temple of The LORD.

It is very important to note that when The LORD accepts the temple we are building for Him and thus embraces it as His temple, then such a temple will become a place of sacrifice to The LORD. A place where sacrifices of praise, worship, meditation, reading of the word, prayer & fasting and presentation of offering unto The LORD takes place; a place from where a sweet aroma is directed to the throne room of The LORD God Almighty in Heaven from this Temple of The LORD that you shall have built to The LORD.

The LORD will thus be very pleased and He will choose such a temple for Himself. He will thus dwell in such a temple and His glory, power and anointing will flow unto and will be upon such a temple. A very mighty visitation of The LORD will be upon that temple. And The LORD will speak to and through such a temple through dreams, visions and open visitations & manifestations etc. Such a temple will be a royal palace, because a royal priesthood will then dwell in there in the presence of The LORD. The LORD, the King of kings will dwell in that temple, and whoever is in this temple of The LORD will be a member of the kingship (The Kingdom of The LORD) and a hence a member of the royal priesthood as a servant of The LORD, a son and a daughter of The LORD, a child of The LORD.

So The LORD is calling upon each and every person in every part of the earth to  come before Him and build an acceptable Temple for Him; The Temple of The LORD. The LORD will thus accept prayers offered in such a place (Temple); because it will be a prayer offered by the Righteous.

All the above key notes are very beautifully captured in the book of 2nd Chronicles 7:11-12 which states as follows: “When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace, the Lord appeared to him at night and said: I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.”

The same is furthermore elucidated in the book of 1st Peter 2:9-11 which states as follows: “ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

The LORD is essentially saying that when there is no progress in your life, when there is no peace in your life, when there is no harvest in your life, when there is no output in your life, when there is sickness and disease in your life, when there is no spiritual breakthrough in your life, as a result of a temple that you are building that is not acceptable to Him, The LORD will withheld His anointing and spiritual visitation. But when such a person who in the past was building a temple that was not pleasing to The LORD, a temple full of wickedness and sins, will go before The LORD in humility and in Repentance through prayer and seeking the ways and the requirements of The LORD, then The LORD will hear their prayer from Heaven and He will forgive them their sins and will restore and heal them by directing them to the kind and the type of temple that they should be building; for then they shall have consulted The LORD for His wisdom in building a temple: The temple of The LORD. They will thus build the temple of The LORD in Repentance, Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD. The LORD will thus be pleased with such a temple built for the glory and honour of His name.

The LORD will thus consecrate such a temple and His presence, power and glory will be upon that temple: The Temple of The LORD. The LORD will thus take care of the prayers offered in such a temple for He will dwell in such a temple and He will listen to, provide to/for and protect such a temple; for then such a temple will bear His name: The Temple of The LORD. His light, His precious Blood, His Holy Fire, His anointing & power of The Holy Spirit will be upon that temple. The LORD Himself will thus dwell in such a temple.

All this is very beautifully captured in the book of 2nd Chronicles 7:13-16 which states as follows: ‘“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.”’

This brings to the forefront the essential and the very important nature of our soul, our spirit, our heart, our mind and our body as the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Hence the need to embrace Repentance for the forgiveness of sins and thereby walking in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ as this temple of The LORD is built in reverence, in glory and honour of The LORD: For then it will bear the name of The LORD, for The LORD will dwell in this Temple (In you and me). This is very well captured in the book of 1st Corinthians 6:19-20 which states as follows:  “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN ABSOLUTE REPENTANCE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS, TRUTH AND COMPLETE SURRENDER TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH). TIME IS ABSOLUTELY OVER; THE MESSIAH JESUS CHRIST IS IMMINENTLY COMING TO PICK HIS BRIDE!!! 

REPENTANCE PRAYER:

Precious Jesus, 

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and savior of all mankind, 

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin. 

Please cover me with your precious blood, 

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness

and write my name in your book of life 

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit 

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
