“DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED; MY PRESENCE WILL GO WITH YOU, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST” SAYS THE LORD

You may find yourself in a situation whereby you feel hopeless, hapless, stressed, depressed, feeling like everyone has rejected you, feeling like everyone has ganged up against you, having no breakthrough in your life, your family  seems to have turned their backs against you, your friends have turned their backs against you, everyone seems to be talking at your back because of a decision or a step you made in your life, somebody you trusted and you put your hope on has died or left and so you feel lonely or feel like your best friend (s) are gone, you are looking for a job but no success, you have a financial pressure, you are not happy at your work place, you are trying to get a child but over the years you have not been successful, you are looking for a marriage partner but seems to have not found anyone or has not been found, your marriage is on the rocks i.e. is undergoing very difficult moment, your children are addicted to a lifestyle of sin and will not listen to your plea for them to take the straight path of The LORD, your family member(s) are enslaved into drunkenness and alcoholism, you are sick and in great pain, your past is haunting you, you have sleepless nights because of the fear of the unknown and a future and a present that seems bleak, you have debts that have piled up you don’t even know where to begin or where to hide, you are in a war zone and you wonder whether tomorrow you will still be alive, you have a sick dependant who relies on you on everything and you feel exhausted and burn out, you are so much into witchcraft and evil covenant and you wonder how to free yourself from these evil chains, you are so much a captive of domestic violence and you wonder when peace and joy and happiness will prevail, you are in a situation where you are hurting so much in your heart such that you even suffer from high blood pressure.

Whatever any other scenario you find yourself in, in addition to the above situation or debacle, The LORD is going to walk us through so that we be able to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and indeed even at our present disposal the light is there. The LORD is telling you and me that no matter the circumstance that is weighing heavily on our hearts we need to surrender it all to Him; for He is more than capable of carrying it all away so that we may feel easy and light in our hearts. That’s why The LORD tells us in the book of Mathew 11:28~30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

The LORD furthermore urges us very powerfully in His word as stated in the book of Psalm 55:22 which states as follows:  “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”

The LORD is thus essentially urging you and me to ensure that we submit our hearts (life) to Him so that our heart is not subjected to misery, pain and strain; so The LORD Jesus Christ requires us to put our trust in Him and surrender all unto Him. This is very beautifully captured in the book of John 14:1~1 which states as follows: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” 

So The LORD requires us to humble ourselves before Him and seek Him in prayer and petition. And in so doing we will be surrendering all our concerns, troubles and anxiety to Him. This is because He is our Father and creater (maker); He is our originator and our eternity because He is The Alpha (the beginning) and The Omega (the end). He is such a caring Father that whatever we ask in His name in humility He will give it to us according to His will, plan and timing. This is very beautifully stated in the book of 1st Peter 5:6~7 which states as follows: “ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

The same is furthermore elucidated in the book of Luke 11:11~13 which states as follows: “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?  If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

A classic example of this is one who was a human being like me and you, and his name was Moses. He also experienced a very tense and difficult moment. And what did he do? He humbled himself and went before His Heavenly Father and sought Him in prayer and petition. He went and had an honest and a humble prayer before His Father knowing that His help comes from Him who is his creater, Ebenezer and hope: The LORD God Almighty and The LORD Jesus Christ. This conversation of Moses with The LORD is well captured in the book of Exodus 33:12 which states as follows: ‘“Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.”’

So from the above, we see that The LORD knows His children by name; and so even you and me The LORD knows us by our names, and when we submit ourselves to The LORD by embracing Repentance for the forgiveness of sins then we find favour before The LORD and with The LORD.

So you see Moses asking The LORD to send him someone who could go with him even as he was preparing to face the challenges ahead and the present challenges. The same challenges you might be facing now as stated above. Moses knew that only The LORD could send him someone who could go with him in the present journey (challenges, situation and difficulties) and the journey ahead. But Moses was magnanimous (noble/wise) enough to know that only by learning from The LORD concerning The LORD’s requirements and ways was he going to know The LORD and continue to walk with The LORD i.e. was The LORD going to continue guarding him and guiding him. So through this he was thus going to walk in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD, for then The LORD shall have taught him His ways and requirements and Moses was going to continue to find favour with/before The LORD. This is very powerfully captured in the book of Exodus 33: 13 which states as follows: “If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”

So from the above, we also see that Moses acknowledged that the people he was interacting with and leading were God’s people i.e. The LORD is the one who had created them and so The LORD knew them better. So even for you and me, our family, our friends, our colleagues etc are a people who only The LORD Himself knows better, so we need to submit ourselves to The LORD so that The LORD to give us the wisdom of how to interact, deal with and even lead or be led by our family members, our friends, colleagues etc. So when The LORD teaches us His requirements and ways we thus walk with Him and continue to be in His presence.

The LORD then made a very powerful and humbling declaration to His son and servant Moses. This declaration was to immediately lift off the burden of worry, anxiety and strain that was very heavy in the heart of Moses. This declaration was the turning point in the life of Moses, in serving The LORD for Moses, in the leadership for Moses, in the interaction of Moses, in the servant~hood of Moses, in the peace for Moses, in the joy for Moses, in calmness for Moses, in progress of Moses. Because therein in this declaration Moses breathed a sigh of relief and his heart was at peace, joyful and at rest (free of stress, free of depression, free of trouble, free of anguish, free of burden, free of no breakthrough). Why? Because The LORD finally was to send him on his journey with someone. This someone that Moses prayed and petitioned The LORD to send him with and The LORD made a declaration of indeed sending Moses with was: The Mighty Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the guider, the counselor, the controller, the comforter, the help. He is The LORD Himself. He is thus your and my (and indeed Moses then) guider, counselor, comforter and helper granted to us by The LORD when we pray and petition in humility before The LORD.

The LORD thus made the ultimate declaration and proclamation as an answer to His son and servant Moses, and this is very powerfully and beautifully captured in the book of Exodus 33:14 which states as follows: ‘“The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”’

This declaration and proclamation of The LORD became the turning point for Moses; and it was so very important to him such that Moses pleaded with (petitioned) The LORD that if The Holy Spirit was not going to go with him (them) then there was actually no need for him (them) to make any step forward. This is also very powerfully captured in the book of Exodus 33:15 which states as follows: ‘“Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”’

So the message to you and me from this very powerful conversation of The LORD and Moses (who is like you and me) is that we need to submit everything (Challenges, difficulties, burdens etc that is in our heart, soul, spirit, mind and body) to The LORD by humbling ourselves before Him in prayer and petition and asking Him to send His Holy Spirit to walk with us and to go with us every step of the way i.e. The LORD Himself to walk with us as we surrender all unto Him. The beauty of this is that when we do this then The LORD has a declaration, a proclamation, a promise to you and me, that: “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest!!!”

That declaration, proclamation, promise is enough for us (you and me) to move on with the journey of life and serving The LORD knowing that The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit is in control and in charge of our life and our destiny; and it shall be well with us (our soul, spirit, mind, heart and body).

Then the ultimate eternal promise from The LORD to you and me is then finally summarized in the book of John 14:2~6 which states as follows: ‘“My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”’

Yes indeed, His coming is very close, actually it’s imminent. Almost all the alarm bells (the signs and wonders) that were to announce/signal His imminent coming to Come and Rapture (suddenly take away into Heaven) have come to pass as stated in the Bible.But remember He is only coming to pick a Holy Bride (Holy Church); that has embraced Repentance for the forgiveness of sins and is walking in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ.

PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN ABSOLUTE REPENTANCE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS, TRUTH AND COMPLETE SURRENDER TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH). TIME IS ABSOLUTELY OVER; THE MESSIAH JESUS CHRIST IS IMMINENTLY COMING TO PICK HIS BRIDE!!! 

REPENTANCE PRAYER:

Precious Jesus, 

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and savior of all mankind, 

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin. 

Please cover me with your precious blood, 

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness

and write my name in your book of life 

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit 

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
