WATER BAPTISM:

It is essential for one to be baptized by Water as well (full Emerson in water), so as to fulfill all Righteousness as written in the Book of John 3:5 ‘“Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”’

So people should go for Water Baptism (Full Emerson in Water) just as The LORD Jesus Christ also did it to show us the way; For this fulfills all Righteousness. This is captured in the Book of Mathew 3: 13-16 which is written as follows: ‘“Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.”’

However, in a situation where it is almost impossible for one to get Water Baptism, it doesn't mean that such a person cannot enter into Heaven. For example, if someone is on their death Bed, and they receive The LORD Jesus Christ and Accept Him as their Saviour, and then 30 minutes later or so such a person passes on, they definitely will enter into Heaven. Remember the thief that was with The LORD Jesus Christ on the Cross, perhaps he had not been baptized, and he didn't have time to be Baptized, yet The LORD Jesus Christ told him: "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” This is well expounded in the Book of Luke 23: 42-43 which is written as follows: ‘“Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”’

But in a situation where Water Baptism is easily accessible (e.g. through a River, a swimming pool, a Bath-Tab, a Lake e.t.c) and there is a readily available Servant of God (a Brother or a Sister in Christ), What prevents You (One) from being Baptized? One should Go for it, like the Ethiopian Eunuch. This is captured in the Book of Acts 8: 36-37 which is written as follows: ‘“Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”’

Therefore, even as we undertake Water Baptism, we should believe with all our heart that The LORD Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He has been sent to Redeem us and to give us Salvation through The Ultimate Sacrifice He paid for us at the Cross of Calvary; through His Precious Blood. Therein is where Repentance comes in, even as we undertake Baptism. For The LORD, through His Servant John The Baptist proclaims as written in the Book of Mathew 3: 7-8: ‘“But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance.”’

It is very important to note that Baptism by Water is essential, so that we be able to fulfill all Righteousness. Water Baptism is a Physical symbolism of being Re-born (Being Renewed), the Past (Sins and lifestyle of Sins) goes and behold the New person who emerges from the Water (adhering to the Ways and The Requirements of The LORD; bearing fruits worthy of Repentance: The Fruits of The Holy Spirit). This also applies to The Baptism of The Holy Spirit and of Fire; which is a Spiritual symbolism of being Re-born (Being Renewed, Refined, Purified, Cleansed and Sanctified). Hence, the proclamation by The LORD Jesus Christ: ‘“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”’ Remember, whenever and wherever someone is Born, there is always a Physical Body and indeed a spirit within the body. Therefore, this also applies when One is Renewed by being born of water (for the Physical body) and Spirit (for the spirit within; which is renewed and infused with The Holy Spirit).

This is very powerfully summarized in the Book of Mathew 3: 11-12 which is written as follows: ‘“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”’

Once you (one) gives your (their) life to The LORD Jesus Christ, by receiving Him as your LORD and Saviour and Repenting of your Sins, The Holy Spirit will automatically come and dwell within you; and your spirit will be infused with The Holy Spirit. In other words, you will then automatically have The Holy Spirit (Be Baptized by The Holy Spirit). Remember, The LORD Jesus Christ describes The Holy Spirit Baptism as follows: '"The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”’

NOTE: Baptism is in The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. The Three are One and are in Agreement, and have Always and will Always Operate that way; No One can separate them. 1st John 5: 6-9 ‘“This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.”’

REPENTANCE PRAYER:

Precious Jesus,

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and Savior of all mankind,

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I Repent and turn away from all Sin.

Please cover me with your Precious Blood,

and establish your Word in my life,

that I may be found in Righteousness and Holiness

and write my name in your Book of Life

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
