At this point, The LORD is
going to help us discuss what constitutes The Main Segments of a Prayer.
Even as we discuss this, it is
very important to note that The Holy Spirit is the One who guides us on what to
Pray for and How to Pray. Actually, The Holy Spirit helps us to go deeper and
deeper in Prayer. This is very powerfully written in the Book of Romans 8: 26-27 which is
captured as follows: ‘“Likewise the
Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for
as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings
which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of
the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the
will of God.”’
Below are some of the main
segments of Prayer; and they can be a good way to arrange a Prayer in an order,
even as The Holy Spirit helps you according to His Perfect Plan, Perfect Will
and Perfect Timing in Prayer. The Holy Spirit will thus give you the ultimate
Order of Prayer. This is just an indicative Order of the Main Segments of
Prayer:
1-PRAYER OF SUBMISSION & SURRENDER
(PRAYER OF REPENTANCE):
-This is the segment of Prayer
where we Submit and Surrender our soul, spirit, mind, heart and body before and
to The LORD.
It is the moment where we ask
The LORD to take Full Authority over our life.
-This is the moment where we
ask The LORD to Cleanse us, Purify us, Refine us, Clean us up, Wash us, Empty
us through: His Holy Fire, His Precious Blood, His Light and to Sanctify us
through the anointing of The Holy Spirit.
-It essentially is the moment
of Repenting for the forgiveness of Sins through The Blood of The LORD Jesus
Christ. It thus is also the segment for Prayer of Repentance.
-It can and should definitely
be a good way of starting a Prayer; as we appear before The LORD in Prayer.
-This also entails asking The
LORD to help us endevour to walk in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete
Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ.
Job
11: 13-15 ‘“Surrender
your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, and give up your sins—even those you
do in secret. Then you won’t be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless.”’
Daniel
12:10 ‘“Many shall be
purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none
of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.”’
2-THANKSGIVING PRAYER:
-This is the segment of Prayer
where we take a moment to Thank The LORD. i.e. offer a sacrifice of
Thanksgiving before The LORD in Prayer. Thank Him for the Gift of Life, Thank
Him for Food, Water, Light, Electricity, Charcoal, Firewood e.t.c, Thank Him
for the Air that we Breath, Thank Him for the Peace that surpasses All human
understanding that He grants to you. E.T.C.

Chronicles 16: 34 ‘“Oh,
give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”’
Colossians
3:17 ‘“And whatever
you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to
God the Father through Him.”’
1st
Thessalonians 5: 16-18 ‘“Rejoice
always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will
of God in Christ Jesus for you.”’
3- PRAYER OF PETITION (PRAYER REQUESTS):
-This is the segment of Prayer
where we take a moment to present our Prayer Requests before The LORD i.e.
present a Petition before The LORD.
It is not a Demand List, but a
Request List. The LORD, He is God, He remains God regardless of our situation,
status, circumstance or condition.
Therefore, we Must always
Honour Him and Glorify His Mighty Name in Reverence and in Respect. He is not
our Age-mate (For He is the Ancient of Days, The Alpha and The Omega; the
Beginning and The End).
Yet, despite Him Being Lifted
High up, He wants to be our Friend (Personally and Individually), that we may
Reason with Him. He actually wants us to make Him our Best Friend and
Companion.
Isaiah
1:18 ‘“Come now, and
let us reason together,” Says the Lord,………………..”’
Philippians
4:6-7 ‘“Be anxious for
nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let
your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”’
John
14:13 ‘“And whatever
you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the
Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”’
4-PRAYER OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE:
-This is the segment of Prayer
where we take a Stand and Authority in The Mighty Name and Blood of The LORD
Jesus Christ, and Pray for the dismantling of networks of dark forces and evil
strongholds.
-At this segment, we are in a
Spiritual Battle, and a lot of “commotion” takes place in the Spiritual realm.
When we Pray in The Mighty Name and Blood of The LORD Jesus Christ, and have
Faith, the kingdom of Darkness is Shaken & Rattled, and Chains of Bondages
are let lose in our life, and the life of those we are Praying for and Praying
with.
John
16:33 ‘“These things I
have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have
tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”’
Philippians
2: 9-11 ‘“Therefore
God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every
name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and
of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”’
John
8:36 '"Therefore
if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed."'
5-PRAYER FOR PROTECTION:
-This is the segment of Prayer
where we Plead before The LORD and ask The LORD to Protect us and to Cover us
with His Precious Blood, His Holy Fire, His Light and His Presence (The
anointing of The Holy Spirit), even as we sleep, walk, work e.t.c.
Psalm
121: 7-8 ‘“The
Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord
shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even
forevermore.”’
6-PRAYER OF GLORY AND HONOUR TO THE LORD:
-This is the segment to give
All the Glory and the Honour to The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ
and The Holy Spirit.
-This segment cuts across all
the segments of Prayer, as we should always be giving The LORD all Glory and
Honour, all the way as we Pray; and actually All the Time.
-It essential to note that
this is the segment of concluding a Prayer. It is thus another segment of
saying “Thank You!!!” to The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The
Holy Spirit; by Magnifying His Holy and Mighty Name: by giving Him All The
Glory and Honour.
-It is a very powerful form of
Praising, Glorifying and Honouring The LORD in Prayer.
Psalm
29: 1-2 ‘“Give
unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give
unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of
holiness.”’
It is very important to ensure
that we don’t fall short of this, as some are in the habit of doing as is
written in the Book of Isaiah 29:13
which is captured as follows: ‘“Therefore
the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor
Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear
toward Me is taught by the commandment of men.”’

NOTE:
-It is very important to note
that the Faithful Sons and Daughters of The LORD, enjoy and will continue to
enjoy forever and ever, what is described by The LORD as follows, as is written
in the Book of Isaiah 64: 24
which is captured as follows: ‘“It
shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are
still speaking, I will hear.”’
The same is also very
powerfully captured as follows in the Book of Mathew 6:7-8 which is written as follows: ‘“And when you pray, do not use vain
repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their
many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things
you have need of before you ask Him.”’

Please could you Pray for me man of God. The spirit of pornography is trying to destroy me., I need help and prayers. Please pray for me. My mind is troubled, my health is not good. You need to drastically change your daily life choices / decisions and just absolutely stop and don't do the bad things anymore. Don't watch lustful movies. .porn. .etc whatever you're doing. Read the Bible instead and start memorizing Bible verses so that they will help stop doing bad things cuz God will speak to you and then you'll be able to hear Him when you get tempted and you'll stop doing bad things. You need God's power and God's word and God's presence and God's blessing and protection in your life.
Pray God gives you a job so you can get out there and work and feel good about yourself. Until you get a job take the time to read Bible and get your mind renewed. ReplyDeleteBut what do you expect from people that think of themselves as so wise, yet in reality they are nothing more than parasites. All these promises, all these resources and they can't even mitigate something as simple as traffic congestion, and when they do try, it costs way more than it should for a number of reasons that we need not delve into. And this is trivial in respect to other matters, but nonetheless annoying. Sometimes it's better to just do the right things, but when you are beholden to the masses, and the highest bidders, what do you expect? The unjust and corrupt attempt to justify themselves as ordained to take everything that they do, in more respects than can be explained, only sowing their own demise. For despite whatever lies they choose to believe, what Carol mentions isn't something that you can fake, or like so many figure will just do when it is convenient. Like the drivers where I come from that run down the fast lanes til the last possible second, then jump over cutting everyone off in the process, if you live your life in such a manner, how could you possibly think that you are justified, unless you choose to believe lies.
It is interesting that you reference Isaiah 29:13, it seems very relevant considering how some so easily justify that which has no justification. So concerned with how one disposes motor oil, all the while they could care less about the blood of infants that gets washed down the drain everyday. Or the blood spilled where people have a bit more to worry about than the other anonymous writer above, all the while we are more than content to be caught up in the trivial, for it is much easier than confronting murderers.
This man with the first comment is in a far better position, than the humble public servant that is only doing their job, for at least the anonymous man has feelings and emotions. It's just yet another one of these unnatural things that is being promulgated, it is in our nature to be happy, to get mad, to love another, just not in the sick and unnatural ways that are promulgated and do not even justify mentioning. One may just find that sometimes you have to be broken down and humbled to be built back up.
