They say they worship “their ancestors” (essentially demons/the devil).

They have Witchcraft artifacts, which they claim the spirits move through. They call upon spirits of the dead to come upon them; to do this, they sacrifice goats to appease the familiar spirits. They then perform some rituals to appease the spirits (evil spirits, what they are calling: “the spirits of their ancestors”).
