THE WISE ONES: WHO ARE THEY?

So, below are the “Spiritual-marks” of those who fall in the category of a people known as the Wise Ones:

1-They Fear The LORD.

Job 28:28 ‘“And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of The LORD, that is wisdom.”’

Proverbs 9:10 ‘“The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom……….”’

=====Meaning that, those who Have Reverence for The LORD (To Revere The LORD) are the Wise Ones. For they shall have been imparted by The Wisdom of The LORD.

2-They have Understanding.

Proverbs 9:10 ‘“…………And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”’

Job 28:28 ‘“…………..And to depart from evil is understanding.’”

=====Meaning that, those who embrace the Message of The LORD, and thus acquire The Knowledge of The LORD and thereby depart from evil (sin) have Understanding.

3- They are Repentant.

Revelation 2: 4-5 ‘“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; Repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you Repent.”’

Acts 17: 30-31 ‘“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to Repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”’

=====Meaning that, they are those who Humble themselves before The LORD and ask Him to have mercy on them, and to forgive them their sins, through the Blood of The LORD Jesus Christ.

4- They are Purified, Made White and Refined:

====Meaning that, they are Spotless, Blameless and without Spiritual Wrinkles.

Daniel 12:8-10 ‘“Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My LORD, what shall be the end of these things?” And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.”’

Isaiah 1: 18 ‘“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says The LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”’

Revelation 7: 13-14 ‘“Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”’

Zechariah 13: 8-9 ‘“And it shall come to pass in all the land,” Says The LORD, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one–third shall be left in it: I will bring the one–third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”

5-They are Filled with The Holy-Spirit.

2nd Timothy 2: 20-21 ‘“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.”’

Psalm 51: 7-12 ‘“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.”’

6-They are Living and Walking in Righteousness.

=====Right before The LORD; by following The Ways and The Requirements of The LORD.

Revelation 22:14 ‘“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.”’

2nd Timothy 2:22 ‘“Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”’

Proverbs 15:9 ‘“The way of the wicked is an abomination to The LORD, But He loves him who follows righteousness.”’

Genesis 6:9 ‘“These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”’

========This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a Righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

7-They are Holy.

=====Set Apart for The Glory and Honour of The LORD. Have Separated themselves from a Lifestyle of Sin.

1st Peter 2:9-10 ‘“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people (a peculiar people), that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”’

Deuteronomy 7:6 ‘“For you are a Holy people to The LORD your God; The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”’

Hebrews 12:14 ‘“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see The LORD.”’

8- They are Ready for The Coming of The Messiah Jesus Christ.

Mathew 25: 1-13 ‘“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”’

(a)=====The Wise Virgins took Their Lamp (Which is their Body) together with Oil (The anointing of The Holy Spirit) in their Vessels.

(b)=====The Light of The Lamp that the Foolish Virgins had was getting Darker (Dimming), while The Light of The Lamp of The Wise Virgins was enduring and endeavouring in Shinning Brighter and Brighter and Brighter.

(c)=====The Foolish Virgins were used to commercializing the Gospel of Christ and compromising it with "modernism" etc. The Wise Virgins thus Rebuked and directed the Foolish Virgins to what they (The Foolish Virgins) had become accustomed to: the commercialization, the compromising and the "modernization" of The Gospel of Christ.

(d)=====When The Bridegroom (The Messiah Jesus Christ) came (comes), only those who are Watching and Ready Will be Raptured (Taken Up Suddenly) into Heaven by Him. These Ones will be The Wise Ones. Their focus shall have been found to be on The Messiah Jesus Christ, and not on any other diversions or disruption of what the World had to offer: The sale and the buying of oil (another Gospel: modernism-based, commercialized and compromised kind of Gospel: A Worldly Gospel, instead of a Heavenly Gospel).

9-They are Overcomers.

=======They are the Overcomers, for they Conquer the World and eventually enter into Heaven; for the Wedding Supper of The Lamb: in The Presence of The LORD, in The Kingdom of The LORD God Almighty in Heaven.

Revelation 3: 19-20 ‘“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”’

Revelation 19: 5-9 ‘“Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For The LORD God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”’

IN CONCLUSION:

====Therefore, who are the Wise Virgins? The Wise Virgins are thus essentially The Remnant Church:

REPENTANCE PRAYER:

Precious Jesus,

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and Savior of all mankind,

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I Repent and turn away from all Sin

Please cover me with your Precious Blood,

and establish your Word in my life,

that I may be found in Righteousness and Holiness

and write my name in your Book of Life

and Baptize me with the Power of The Holy Spirit

in The Mighty Name of Jesus Christ
