Being filled with The Holy
Spirit means one allowing The LORD (The Holy Spirit) to help them, guide them,
direct them, control them, counsel them and comfort them.
All those who Submit and
Surrender their life to The LORD in Repentance for the forgiveness of their
sins through the Blood of The LORD Jesus Christ will automatically be filled
with The Holy Spirit; that is a promise of The LORD. This is captured in the
Book of John 3:8 which is written as follows: ‘“The
wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where
it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”’
For they shall have
indeed Surrendered themselves before The LORD for Cleansing, Cleaning,
Refining, Washing, Purification and Sanctification as the Temple of The Holy
Spirit. What remains then, is the eventual manifestation of the
gifts of The Holy Spirit (as is determined by The Holy Spirit). What also
follows are The Fruit (s) of The Holy Spirit. But one has to be very carefully
(through the help of The LORD) that indeed they bear fruit (s) worthy of
Repentance (The Fruit-s of The Holy Spirit).
Meaning that it is possible to
grieve The Holy Spirit by returning to sin. The LORD God Almighty who had sent
to us the Helper (The Holy Spirit) can then also take Him (The Holy Spirit)
away; if we sin and refuse (fail) to Repent of our Sins. This is very powerfully
captured in the Book of Ephesians 4: 30-31 which is
written as follows: ‘“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by
whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”’
The “seal/sealing/sealed” is
to/for Repentance (for the forgiveness of sins through the Blood of The LORD
Jesus Christ), Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The
LORD Jesus Christ. It is not a “seal/sealing/sealed” to a lifestyle of sin. Sealed
is for the Day of Redemption (The Day of Rapture) when only those who have
walked in Righteousness and Holiness and hence have The Holy Spirit will be
Raptured into Heaven. If one was Born-again, and has now returned to a
lifestyle of sins, and has refused to Repent and Return to The LORD, the “Seal
of Redemption” will not be upon them.
Only those who have The Holy
Spirit will be Raptured into Heaven; meaning that those who do not have The
Holy Spirit will not be Raptured into Heaven. In other words, those who have
returned to a lifestyle of sin, and have refused to Repent will not be raptured/will
not enter into the glorious Kingdom of The LORD God Almighty in Heaven.
How can the Holy Spirit be
taken away? One may ask. If we go back to a lifestyle of sin and refuse to
Repent of our sins, The Holy Spirit will be taken away from us. King David
returned to sin, and once he came to his Spiritual “senses”, he Repented before
The LORD and asked The LORD to have mercy on him, even as he pleaded with The
LORD not to take His Holy Spirit away from him. Don’t say that: “scenario
of Holy Spirit being taken away” used to apply only in the Old
Testament times. Sin is Sin before God, whether it was during the Old Testament
Days, or during The New Testament Days. This is very powerfully captured in the
Book of Psalm 51:11 which is written as follows: "'Do
not cast me away from Your Presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from
me."'
Furthermore, The LORD
promises us that the Helper (The Holy Spirit) that He was going to give us was
ONLY going to abide with us forever, as long as we (individually) keep His
commandments (meaning; as long as we don’t return to a lifestyle of sins). This
is very powerfully captured in the Book of John 14: 15-18 which
is written as follows: ‘“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I
will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide
with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it
neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and
will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”’
“Once Saved Always Saved”
(O.S.A.S) is a False Doctrine. It is a doctrine of spiritual laziness and lack
of Accountability & Responsibility. It is a compromised doctrine aimed at
accommodating a lifestyle of sin. It is a doctrine aimed at encouraging what is
described in the book of Proverbs 26:11 which is
written as follows: ‘“As a dog returns to his own vomit, So a fool
repeats his folly.”’
The warning of The LORD to
this same false doctrine of “Once Saved Always Saved” (O.S.A.S) is very
powerfully captured in the Book of 2nd Peter 2: 17-22 which
is written as follows: ‘“These people are springs without water and
mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. For they mouth
empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh,
they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. They
promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people
are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” If they have escaped the corruption
of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again
entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were
at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way
of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the
sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: “A
dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing
in the mud.”’
Being Born-again comes with
Responsibility and Accountability: The Responsibility and the Accountability to
walk in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus
Christ; in Preparing the Way for The Kingdom of The LORD God Almighty in
Heaven.
The Eternal salvation that The
LORD Jesus Christ promises to His faithful sons and daughters; is exactly that,
to His faithful and obedient sons and daughters. Obedient and Faithful; not the
Backslidden, who refuse to Repent of their sins. If one backslides, and refuses
to wake-up (through the prodding/help of The Holy Spirit; who by the way, gives
freewill to everyone) and (refuses to) come back to their Spiritual “senses”
then they shall have Fallen. So, Once Saved Always Saved Doctrine (which is a
False and Deceptive Doctrine) does not apply to such a person. The
LORD will always give room and time for such a person, that such a person may
see how far he/she has fallen, and Repent in earnest (before it is too late),
otherwise The LORD removes (takes away) The Holy Spirit (The Lampstand) from
such a person. This is very powerfully captured in the Book of Revelation
2: 4-5 which is written as follows: ‘“Nevertheless I
have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore
from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come
to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.”’
The same is also powerfully
captured in the Book of Hebrews 5:8-9, wherein The LORD is
speaking about the Obedient & Faithful sons and daughters, not the
Backslidden (who refuse to Repent). This is written as follows: ‘“Though
He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And
having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who
obey Him.”’
The LORD is also referring to
the Obedient and the Faithful sons and daughters when He says the following as is
written in the Book of John 6: 39 ‘“This is the
will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose
nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.”’
I know the proponents of “Once
Saved Always Saved” Doctrine always like “hiding” under (behind) John 6:39 as
they misinterpret it to fit into their false doctrine. It is now uncovered and
unveiled.
Work out your salvation with Fear
and Trembling. Meaning,
Fear: - walk and live your
life of Salvation (being born-again) through Wisdom (of The LORD/that comes from
The LORD).
Trembling: - humble yourself
before The LORD, seeking Him to create in you a Pure heart. A humble heart, a
contrite heart, a repentant heart.
Yes, we are saved by grace, not by works. That still remains true. However, we must work out our salvation with Fear and Trembling.
Saved by grace: - we don’t deserve
it, only through the blood of The LORD Jesus Christ that He shed on the cross
of calvary does make us Saved; if we (in our individual capacity) believe and
receive Him as our LORD, master and saviour.
Not by works: - not by
entitlement. We can’t purchase/buy our way to salvation.
SHALOM!!!
Mathew 3:7-8 ‘“But
when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said
to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore
bear fruits worthy of repentance.”’
REPENTANCE PRAYER:
Precious Jesus,
I acknowledge today that you
are LORD and Savior of all mankind,
and today I have recognized my
shortfall,
I Repent and turn away from
all Sin.
Please cover me with your
Precious Blood,
and establish your Word in my
life,
that I may be found in
Righteousness and Holiness
and write my name in your Book
of Life
and baptize me with the power
of the Holy Spirit
in the mighty name of Jesus
Christ.
AMEN.
Your Brother in Christ Jesus
and a Shepherd of The LORD,
Kevin Mirasi
