Romans
12:1-2
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which
is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
1-This
is a specific message to brethren (brothers and sisters in Christ; them who
have set themselves apart for The Glory and Honour of The LORD). The Church of
Christ.
2-The
mercy of God upon mankind comes through the Blood of The LORD Jesus Christ;
that was shed at the cross of calvary in Jerusalem, Israel. For through the blood
of The LORD Jesus Christ, mercy is granted to mankind (individually) through
Repentance (individually) for the forgiveness of their sins. A personal
Repentance before The LORD The God of Heaven, through the Blood of The LORD
Jesus Christ; that washes away the sins.
3-The
LORD is calling upon the Church (brethren; brothers and sisters in Christ) to present
their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
In
others words, The LORD The God of Heaven is calling upon the Church of Christ
(at individual level) to live a life worthy of their calling as sons and daughters
of The LORD. To pursue Righteousness, Holiness and Wisdom before The LORD. To
offer a worship that is acceptable before The LORD The God of Heaven. A reasonable
service before The LORD The God of Heaven.
4-The
world is full of evil and wickedness. As the years go by, it is getting worse
and worse for the subsequent generations. In the words, the newer generations are
facing a worse situation than generations that came before them. In other words,
the world is becoming more wicked; and generations are rising that reflect the
wickedness of their time.
Therefore,
the message of The LORD therein is: Do not conform to the world; and its wickedness,
evil, immorality and all its sinful lifestyle.
5-Be
Transformed by the Renewing of the mind.
In
other words, The LORD is calling upon the Church of Christ (the sons and daughters
of The LORD) therein, to submit themselves before The Holy Spirit for renewal,
revival, refreshing, resetting and cleansing. That The LORD may create in them
a new heart; by removing a heart of stone and putting upon them a heart of
flesh. A Heart that is Repentant, humble, contrite (brokenness) and seeks to
worship The LORD in Spirit and in Truth. A heart that seeks to serve The LORD in
purity, righteousness and holiness.
It
starts with Repentance and thereby a pursuance of Righteousness, Holiness and
Wisdom before The LORD the God of Heaven.
6-The
Church of Christ in so doing and following the ways and the requirements of The
LORD espoused above, will have attained the perfect will of The LORD, and will
thus be allowed entry into the Glorious Kingdom of The LORD God Almighty in
Heaven.

Precious
Jesus,
I
acknowledge today that you are LORD and Savior of all mankind,
and
today I have recognized my shortfall,
I
Repent and turn away from all Sin
Please
cover me with your Precious Blood,
and
establish your Word in my life,
that
I may be found in Righteousness and Holiness
and
write my name in your Book of Life
and
Baptize me with the Power of The Holy Spirit
in
The Mighty Name of Jesus Christ
AMEN.
