LET US STAND FIRM IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST NO MATTER WHERE WE ARE, WHOM WE ARE WITH OR THE CIRCUMSTANCE WHERE WE FIND OURSELVES IN

At this moment in time, The LORD is going to help us understand how we need to stand firm in The LORD Jesus Christ no matter where we are or whom we are with or the circumstance we find ourselves in.

So a time comes when you are faced with a very painful, challenging and a difficult situation to a point where even those who are close to you including family, friends, neighbours, colleagues etc may run away from you. This becomes a time when only The LORD can stand with you; this is the moment when your only hope and rock is The LORD Himself and unto Him do you find hope and meaning. The classical example of this is when The LORD Jesus Christ was about to be arrested and later on crucified on the cross, at that point His hearts was very heavy because of what He was about to go through. So He knew that at that point only The LORD God Almighty was His hope, and that’s why He went and prayed to His Heavenly Father that may His will be done. This is a message to you and me that in every circumstance including when we face very difficult moment, we should always run to The LORD and seek His counsel in prayer.  This is well captured in the book of Mark 14:32~36 which states as follows: ‘“They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”  He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled.  “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death,” he said to them. “Stay here and keep watch.”Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him.  “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”’

It at times becomes so difficult and challenging that the people close to you including your family, friends and even brothers and sisters in Christ whom you may trust to join you in prayer and be of help at that very difficult moment may actually not grasp the intensity and the seriousness of the turmoil, the strain and the difficult moment you may be going through or is about to go through; they may actually let you down at your hour of need and expectation.  You may thus find yourself in a situation where you have no one to lean on except The LORD. Only when they are walking in spirit not by their strength or might but by The Holy Spirit will they be able to understand and overcome the weaknesses of the flesh that makes them fail to be alert and recognize the hour of visitation so that they be able to watch by joining you in seeking The LORD in prayer and providing you with the much needed help. This is very well captured in the book of Mark 14:37~42 which states as follows: ‘“Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Simon,” he said to Peter, “are you asleep? Couldn’t you keep watch for one hour? Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Once more he went away and prayed the same thing. When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. They did not know what to say to him. Returning the third time, he said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”’

So when we are in a very difficult moment in time, everyone may desert you such that we remain all alone. They may desert you because what you are going through, they may not want to be part of because they may want to stay within their comfort zones. As servants of The LORD and children of The LORD, as you serve The LORD and continue to partake of His ministry as His servant, son and daughter of The LORD, people may run away from you i.e. they may actually flee from you because they don’t want to be part of the challenges that comes when serving The LORD. That is the moment when our only true friend and hope is The LORD God Almighty.  These then becomes the days of the garment, the days when The LORD requires us to embrace Repentance for the forgiveness of sins and walking in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ. So the garment we are wearing must then be the garment of Righteousness and Holiness; and this goes beyond the physical dressing that we wear; It is the spiritual garment that we wear that shows our true “colours” before The LORD i.e. the real test of serving The LORD and being in His presence. But it also becomes very obvious that when we submit to The LORD and surrender our lives to Him; even our physical outlook and physical garment and how we behave also changes because the LORD shall have redeemed us in soul, spirit, mind, heart and body. But the question that then comes forth is whether we are really serving The LORD in absolute Repentance and complete surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ by having embraced Righteousness, Holiness and Truth within us or whether it is just by mouth. This true test of fellowshipping with The LORD and how those who are not firmly grounded in The LORD are swept away when the real challenges crop up to test their salvation, whether it is real and deep or just shallow and based on the flesh. So when The LORD Jesus Christ was arrested and everyone of His followers and those who use to fellowship with Him fled and deserted Him, to the extent that those who were only walking in the flesh also fled and left forth their physical garments; meaning that they had not indeed put on the garment of Righteousness within their spirit, heart and soul but were actually just living on the flesh and thus relying only on their physical garment. This is very beautifully captured in the book of Mark 14: 50~52 which states as follows: ‘“Then everyone deserted him and fled. A young man, wearing nothing but a linen garment, was following Jesus. When they seized him, he fled naked, leaving his garment behind.”’

It therefore becomes very very important to ensure that we are always watchful and alert by wearing the spiritual garment of salvation by embracing Repentance for the forgiveness of sins and thereby walking in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ in preparing the way for the very imminent coming of The LORD Jesus Christ so that we are not shamefully exposed when The LORD Jesus Christ comes to Rapture His bride into Heaven. This is very well summarized in the book of Revelation 16:15 which states as follows: “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

It then becomes very clear that this thus essentially means that this is the hour of the garment. And it is not just the physical garment of a mere linen but the fine linen which is a representation of Righteousness and Holiness within the soul, spirit, mind, heart and body of someone; meaning that it is the hour of purification, refining, cleansing, washing and sanctification by The Holy Fire from the throne room of Heaven, The Blood of The LORD Jesus Christ and the anointing of The Holy Spirit. So the linen must be a fine linen that has undergone purification, refining, cleansing, washing and sanctification and thus has moved from being just a mere linen worn on the physical flesh but it has now become a fine linen that covers the soul, the spirit, the mind, the heart and the body. This is very powerfully captured in the book of Revelation 19:6~9 which states as follows: ‘“Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”’

Furthermore, we find that a time comes when our close friends, family, colleagues, neighbours e.t.c may even disown you and even issue curses whenever inquiry about you (concerning you) is mentioned to them. They may not wish to be part of the challenges and the difficulties you might be going through; this in most cases will lead to you being alone as everyone may disown you and deny knowledge of you. At such times only The LORD will be your friend and hope. This is also very well captured in the book of Mark 14:66~72 which states as follows: ‘“While Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came by. When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked closely at him. “You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus,” she said. But he denied it. “I don’t know or understand what you’re talking about,” he said, and went out into the entryway. When the servant girl saw him there, she said again to those standing around, “This fellow is one of them.”  Again he denied it. After a little while, those standing near said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.” He began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know this man you’re talking about.” Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.” And he broke down and wept.”’

Such are the times and the moments that even those who were with you during the “good” times and had sworn to be with you through “thick and thin” will now flee from you and will not want to be associated with you. This is very well captured in the book of Mark 14:27~31 which states as follows: ‘‘“You will all fall away,” Jesus told them, “for it is written: “‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”Peter declared, “Even if all fall away, I will not.” “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “today—yes, tonight—before the rooster crows twice you yourself will disown me three times.” But Peter insisted emphatically, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the others said the same.”’’

May We Thus Stand Firm in The LORD Jesus Christ No Matter Where We Are, Whom We Are With Or The Circumstance Where We Find Ourselves In.

SHALOM!!!

Mathew 10:18~22 ‘“On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles.  But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say,  for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”’

PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN ABSOLUTE REPENTANCE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS, TRUTH AND COMPLETE SURRENDER TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH). TIME IS ABSOLUTELY OVER; THE MESSIAH JESUS CHRIST IS IMMINENTLY COMING TO PICK HIS BRIDE!!!

REPENTANCE PRAYER:

Precious Jesus,

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and savior of all mankind,

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin.

Please cover me with your precious blood,

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness

and write my name in your book of life

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

AMEN.

  1. A most profound message if The LORD was given this morning on Jesus Is LORD Radio. 13th November 2014.

There is no more time left. We must now only rely on the LORD alone.

Time is up. Anytime now the church goes away.

    Lets prepare well in Holiness.
