IT IS TIME TO LEAVE EGYPT, TURN BACK NO MORE AND FOCUS ON THE PROMISED LAND:

May the name of The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit be glorified for giving me the grace to share with you on the message that: it’s time to leave Egypt (the world) and prepare for the Promised Land (Heaven). May you have the grace to read through to the end and be blessed.

In the book of Exodus 3:7-8 The LORD said: ‘“I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.  So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

God had sent Moses to tell Pharaoh to let His people go so that they could go and worship Him and hold a festival for Him.  This as captured in the book of Exodus 5:1 ‘“Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.”’

1-Leaving Egypt means leaving the sinful nature of the Egyptian lifestyle, into the presence of The LORD God Almighty; JEHOVAH, YAHWEH.

So, in our present set up, The LORD God Almighty wants all the people of the earth to leave Egypt (Worldly lifestyle) and head towards the Promised Land (Heaven) i.e. by Repenting of their sins and then living in Righteousness, Holiness and Wisdom in preparation for the coming of The LORD Jesus Christ to take His faithful ones (The bride of Christ) to Heaven. Even though the Israelites were to go and hold a festival for The LORD God Almighty, God Himself is going to hold a festival for those who reach Heaven as stated in the book of Revelation 19:6-9 which states: ‘“Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our LORD God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.”’

2-Leaving Egypt means living in this world, but not belonging to this world, by focusing and preparing for the life in Heaven.

This by living not by bread alone but on every word that comes (cometh) from the mouth of the LORD. During the exodus, each day the Israelites woke up they began “crying” (complaining) for bread, yet after God gave it to them, they “cried” for meat. The Israelites said to Moses and Aaron “If only we had died by the LORD’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.”

Bread here refers to the things of life which causes worry and anxiety e.g jobs, bills (expenses), children, spouses, mates, investments, education, politics, food etc.

Infact if you focus only on bread, then you essentially have no life! The LORD Jesus Christ said, He will give life and give it in abundance if we focus on Him in Repentance, Righteousness, Holiness and Wisdom as stated in the book of John 10:9-10 ‘“Jesus said “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”’

Even though the Israelites had left Egypt, they were still thinking of how they were surrounded by pots of meat, instead of focusing on God’s Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Today’s believers in Jesus Christ should no longer focus on the worldly life they previously lived, a life of Godlessness, a life focused only on satisfying the flesh, but should focus on their soul and spirit by focusing on the hope that Jesus Christ stated, when He said that in His Father’s house are many rooms (mansions). That if He goes (went) to prepare a place for His bride (faithful sons and daughters), then He will come back to pick His bride to take her home (Heaven), and the only way to the place is through Him (Jesus Christ The Messiah/Saviour).

This as captured in the book of John 14:1-4, wherein The LORD Jesus Christ said: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.  My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.”

So, it’s time to leave Egypt by not getting entangled with the Godless entertainment/enjoyment of the world, and focus on the everlasting life in the kingdom of The LORD God Almighty in Heaven. This as stated in the book of 1st John 15:17 ‘“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.  For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.  The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.”’

3-When you leave Egypt, then even the way you worship must change.

If while at Egypt golden calf was worshipped, you cannot continue worshipping the golden calf anymore, but must now worship the true living God in spirit and in truth. God The Father demands that when one leaves Egypt, then one must stop worshiping Baal anymore. The Israelites had physically left Egypt, but when Moses stayed longer on the mountain (speaking with The LORD), the people demanded that they wanted something to worship, since according to them they “don’t know what might have happened to this Moses fellow”.

They thus demanded that Aaron, the high priest to make for them a golden calf. Aaron obliged and told them to give him their golden earrings and ornaments so that he could make for them the golden calf. It is important to note that Aaron who was a high priest and tasked with shepherding the sheep was now agreeing to lead the sheep astray, and so it’s very important to note that when you leave Egypt, you must listen to the voice of The LORD, including through His true/genuine servants; who will shepherd you in the Right way (The way of The LORD) and even Rebuke you when you go astray.

The LORD requires that if one is to enter His glorious Kingdom, then Righteousness and Holiness is a must, and so the people of the earth must put aside all their idols, be it famous musicians/music, sports personalities, famous politicians, addictive secular TV programs, Alcoholic drinks and cigarettes etc.

It’s time to worship The LORD God Almighty in spirit and in truth by offering an acceptable sacrifice of praise and worship, reading the word of God and praying before/to The LORD The God of Heaven.

4-The LORD God Almighty warns against unbelief, and in the book of Hebrews 3:12, the word of God states: “See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.”

The Israelites while in the desert were full of unbelief, they even doubted God’s promise to deliver them to the Promised Land, and they kept on grumbling. In the book of Deuteronomy 10:16 which states: ‘“Moses told the Israelites “Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.  For the LORD your God is God of gods and LORD of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.”’

So, when you leave Egypt (worldly lifestyle) you have to circumcise your heart with the blood of The LORD Jesus Christ and the power of The Holy Spirit, by Repenting for the forgiveness of your sins, with sincerity from your heart, and seeking The Holy Spirit to sanctify you, for then you truly will have become a temple of The Holy Spirit.

The LORD Jesus Christ is demanding a heart of faith, for without faith one (you and I) cannot please God. It’s thus time to leave Egypt by focusing on the LORD through prayer and having faith on the LORD, so as to be able to be raptured into heaven when Jesus Christ comes for His bride. This as stated in the book of John 3:16-19 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.  This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.”

Leaving Egypt means observing sabbath and keeping it holy. In the book of Exodus 20:8-10 ‘“Remember the sabbath day by keeping it holy.  Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.”’

In the present situation, just as in the olden times, the people who desire to please God must ensure that they keep sabbath holy (whether Saturday or Sunday). But remember, Christ Jesus fulfilled a deeper understanding of Sabbath, when He proclaimed: “The sabbath was made for man, and not man made for sabbath.”

5-So the present-day Israelites (the believers in Jesus Christ) must leave their old lifestyle of Godlessness, since God has called them (His people) from Egypt into the desert to offer sacrifices of praise, worship, prayer, offering, tithes and meditating upon His word; in readiness for His glorious coming, for their entry into His Kingdom in Heaven.

This is the same reason why God had told the Israelites to leave Egypt as stated in the book of Exodus 3:18 ‘“The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God.”’

So, it’s time to leave Egypt and be Right before the LORD by following His ways and requirements.

6-Leaving Egypt means being freed from the bondage of slavery and being set free. Believers in The LORD Jesus Christ are delivered from the bondage of sin and control by the devil and evil spirits, by Repenting of their sins in the name of The LORD Jesus Christ, and thereby living in Righteousness, Holiness and Wisdom, by knowing the truth; and the truth setting them free.

The truth is that Christ Jesus The Messiah (The Son of The Living God) is the only door to enter Heaven, and nobody goes to the Father except through the Son. In the book of Mathew 11:28-30 Jesus Christ said ‘“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”’

The only way to continue being free from the bondage and slavery by the devil (Pharaoh) is to continue focusing on the LORD Jesus Christ by continuously Repenting and living in Righteousness and Holiness through prayer & fasting and praise & worship to the LORD and fleeing from the devil, as stated in the book of James 4: 7-10 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.  Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.  Humble yourselves before The LORD, and he will lift you up.”’

7-Leaving Egypt means leaving the world and focusing on a place that God has prepared for you.

The road is very narrow, and at times no food or water (literally and figuratively) can be found (Sacrifices have to be made to detach oneself/yourself from the world), but it’s important that one has full faith in The LORD, because He is in control and in charge of the narrow road. His presence is available on this road and He will lead those who decide to walk on this road 24/7 i.e. day and night (all the days of their life: for Eternity)

This is very powerfully and very beautifully captured in the book of Exodus 13:20-22 ‘“After leaving Sukkoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert.  By day The LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.  Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.”’

On this road one cannot afford to look behind them, but must always look ahead, they should not worry about their past circumstances, because the LORD is in charge, you just need to fully surrender to Him, because if you look behind and focus on your past, you will be reminded of the world, its worries, concerns, bondage, slavery and former lifestyle. This as stated in the book of Exodus 14:10-14 ‘“As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD.  They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?  Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”  Moses answered the people “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”’

As Jesus Christ Himself said in the book of Luke 9:59-62 ‘“He said to another man, “Follow me.” But he replied, “LORD, first let me go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Still another said, “I will follow you, LORD; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”’

The road coming out of Egypt and leading to the promised land is so narrow and very few people want to take it, because many sacrifices have to be made from the “comfort” and the “comfort-zones” that comes with the worldly lifestyle (the Egyptian comfort/comfort-zone). Majority of the people would prefer the broad and wide road which eventually lead to eternal damnation, eternal pain, suffering and sorrow, eternal gnashing of teeth, eternal torment in the Lake of fire, eternal torment by worms and maggots in hell. Be wise, and avoid this pitfall.

In the book of Mathew 7:13-14 which states: ‘“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.”’

The narrow road that leads to life requires one to be cleansed, justified, purified and cleaned by the blood of The LORD Jesus Christ and the sanctification by The Holy Spirit. Therefore, it starts by Repentance (In the name of The LORD Jesus Christ) and thereby leading to Righteousness, Holiness, Wisdom and eventually leading to a garment of fine linen, white and clean as stated in the book of Revelation 19:8 “Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

The Israelites had to pass through this narrow road so as to be tested and cleansed from the Egyptian lifestyle they had been so used to for 430 years. They would have actually been taken through the shorter route from across the Egyptian border to the Promised Land which was broad and wide but they would have entered the Promised Land with filthy garment having the filth of Egyptian idolatry and Godless lifestyle.

Passing through the narrow road means being tested and refined so as to acquire the status of the citizenship of God’s kingdom in the Promised Land (Heaven), whose hallmark is Repentance, Righteousness, Wisdom and Holiness. This as stated in the book of Zechariah 13:8-9 ‘“In the whole land,” declares the LORD, “two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it. This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’”

The narrow road out of Egypt may at times be full of venomous snakes and scorpions. the road may be full of thirst and waterlessness, but out of the rock (The LORD Jesus Christ) shall the LORD provide water (living water; peace, joy and satisfaction). The LORD shall as well always provide manna (knowledge, wisdom, faith, hope, love etc) for you to eat, as you journey in the desert/wilderness (the narrow road).

So, in the same way, the bride that The LORD Jesus Christ will be coming any moment to rapture must be prepared in absolute Repentance, Righteousness, Wisdom and Holiness so as to be pure in the sight of the LORD, for without Holiness no one will see The LORD. This as stated in the book of Hebrews 12:14-16 ‘“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see The LORD.  See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.  See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.”’

Many people prefer the broad road, and on this road you will find: sexual immorality (fornication, adultery, lusting with eyes, pornography, homosexuality), watching TV programs & movies that do not honour/glorify The LORD, pride, malice, slander, back stabbing, gossip, anger, drunkenness, smoking cigarettes/bhang/marijuana/cocaine etc., bitterness, murder (including abortions), ungratefulness, unforgiveness, theft ETC.

8-Leaving Egypt means obeying The LORD fully and keeping His commandments; and The LORD will make you His treasured possession. This as stated in the book of Exodus 19:4-6 ‘“You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.  Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.”’

The LORD Jesus Christ emphasized this fact in Mathew 6:19-21, by stating that: ‘“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”’

This also as The LORD through Moses stated in the book of Deuteronomy 6:25 “And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our Righteousness.”

9-Leaving Egypt means being ready to listen to God, including through His prophets, servants, His Holy word (The Bible), and through the move of The Holy Spirit (as captured in the book of Joel 2: 28-30), including through His signs in the sky etc. This while embracing the fear of The LORD and understanding; which means wisdom and shunning evil respectively (Job 28:28).

This is also well captured in the book of Exodus 20:18-21 ‘“When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”  Moses said to the people “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.” The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.”’

Leaving Egypt thus means that we should be ready to be in the presence of the LORD and allow The Holy Spirit to take control of our bodies (God’s temple), souls, spirit, heart and mind. We cannot afford to remain at a distance because if we do remain at a distance, we wouldn’t be able to hear the voice of The LORD and His message; and we won’t be able to know the season we are living at. That’s why Jesus Christ said in the book of Luke 12:54-56 ‘“He said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does.  And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is.  Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?”’

So, when you are in the presence of The LORD, you will be able to know how to interpret seasons i.e. the present time. The only way you can be in the presence of The LORD and stop remaining at a distance when you are out of Egypt (worldly lifestyle) is by Repenting for the forgiveness of your sins through the blood and the name of The LORD Jesus Christ, and thereby living in Righteousness, Holiness and Wisdom before The LORD The God of Heaven. This thus entails continuous/daily sincere Repentance from your heart, prayer, fasting and reading the word of God (The Bible), and then He will reveal to you things through dreams, visions, His prophets/servants, opening your spiritual eyes etc. so that you understand and correctly interpret His Word in the bible and the season we are at (the present season). The Season for and of Preparing the way for the Coming of The LORD Jesus Christ, to come and pick His Bride (The faithful sons and daughters of The LORD).

This just as The LORD promised Israelites in the book of Deuteronomy 3:21-22 ‘“At that time I commanded Joshua: “You have seen with your own eyes all that the LORD your God has done to these two kings. The LORD will do the same to all the kingdoms over there where you are going. Do not be afraid of them; the LORD your God himself will fight for you.”’

This means that when you leave Egypt (worldly lifestyle), it will be time for the LORD to fight for you against your enemies (The devil, evil spirits and satan’s agents).

So, when you are in the presence of The LORD and is no longer remaining at a distance, then you will know that now we are at the end-times as stated by Jesus Christ in Mathew 24:1-44 and Luke 21:5-27. The LORD Jesus Christ said that: ‘“when you see these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near.”’

Therefore, it’s time to leave Egypt (Worldly lifestyle) and move into the presence of The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit and stop remaining at a distance, because as stated in the book of Revelation 16:15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

This cloth is the cloth of salvation in The LORD Jesus Christ, and it only comes through Repentance (continuous/daily), living in Righteousness, Wisdom and Holiness so that the precious blood of The LORD Jesus Christ and the sanctification of The Holy Spirit continue to keep the cloth (the garment of The LORD upon you/I) bright, clean and spotless through cleansing and purification.

I thus beseech all of us that time is of essence (is absolutely over), it’s time to leave Egypt and move into the Mighty presence of The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit through Repentance, Righteousness, Wisdom and Holiness and stop remaining at a distance, so that we focus on getting into the promised land (Heaven) through the narrow road of the desert/wilderness, and avoid the broad and wide road which even though seems more desirable but eventually lead to hell. For now, the time for us to go and Worship The LORD in spirit and in truth has come.

SHALOM!!!
