IS YOUR PATH A RECKLESS ONE BEFORE THE LORD?

This moment in time we are going to discuss and share a very fundamental issue and item especially taking into account the fact that mankind is in the very final stages of: The End-Times.

So, as we continue to go through this, each one of us needs to interrogate himself/herself regarding the path that we/you (in our/your individual capacity) is/are walking on, and we each need to go deeper in the interrogation and ask ourselves: “Is the Path I have taken a Reckless one before The LORD?” OR “Is the Path I have taken a Righteous one and a Holy one before The LORD?”

To set us off, we are going to read the book of Numbers 22:9-41 which states as follows: ““God came to Balaam and asked, “Who are these men with you?” Balaam said to God, “Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, sent me this message: ‘A people that has come out of Egypt covers the face of the land. Now come and put a curse on them for me. Perhaps then I will be able to fight them and drive them away.’” But God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.” The next morning Balaam got up and said to Balak’s officials, “Go back to your own country, for theLord has refused to let me go with you.” So the Moabite officials returned to Balak and said, “Balaam refused to come with us.” Then Balak sent other officials, more numerous and more distinguished than the first. They came to Balaam and said: “This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me, because I will reward you handsomely and do whatever you say. Come and put a curse on these people for me.” But Balaam answered them, “Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of The LORD my God. Now spend the night here so that I can find out what else The LORD will tell me.” That night God came to Balaam and said, “Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.” Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials. But God was very angry when he went, and the angel of The LORD stood in the road to oppose him. Balaam was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him. When the donkey saw the angel of The LORD standing in the road with a drawn sword in his hand, it turned off the road into a field. Balaam beat it to get it back on the road. Then the angel of The LORD stood in a narrow path through the vineyards, with walls on both sides. When the donkey saw the angel of The LORD, it pressed close to the wall, crushing Balaam’s foot against it. So he beat the donkey again. Then the angel of The LORD moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn, either to the right or to the left. When the donkey saw the angel of The LORD, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff. Then The LORD opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?” Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.” The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?” “No,” he said. Then The LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of The LORD standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown. The angel of theLord asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me. The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it.” Balaam said to the angel of The LORD, “I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me. Now if you are displeased, I will go back.” The angel of The LORD said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.” So Balaam went with Balak’s officials. When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite town on the Arnon border, at the edge of his territory. Balak said to Balaam, “Did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you?” “Well, I have come to you now,” Balaam replied. “But I can’t say whatever I please. I must speak only what God puts in my mouth.” Then Balaam went with Balak to Kiriath Huzoth. Balak sacrificed cattle and sheep, and gave some to Balaam and the officials who were with him. The next morning Balak took Balaam up to Bamoth Baal, and from there he could see the outskirts of the Israelite camp.””

So from the above, we find that Balaam was on a mission to see Balak, the king of Moab, but this path he had taken was a reckless one before The LORD, because he had been summoned by King Balak to come and curse a people whom The LORD God Almighty had blessed. So, the angel of The LORD blocked his way and warned him that for him to be allowed to proceed, he had to go with another route, the route that is set by The LORD; The route of Righteousness, Holiness, Wisdom, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD. That’s why the angel of The LORD said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.”

This means that whenever The LORD appears to oppose the reckless path that the people of the earth have taken, He makes it known very clearly that He is not pleased. So, the only remedy becomes Repentance, and that’s why Balaam had to Repent before The LORD by saying: “I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me. Now if you are displeased, I will go back.”

Balaam Repented after The LORD made it very clear to him that he was on the path to destruction, since the path he had taken was a reckless one, and that’s why The LORD said to Balaam: “I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.”

The beauty of this is that even though Balaam wanted to go back, but The LORD told him that there was no reason for giving up. The LORD told him that he could continue with his journey but he had to take another path, a very narrow path, a path where you can only take to once the power of The LORD descends upon you and you wake up from darkness, so that you can now see the light and then you recognize your sins and Repent of your sins before The LORD. This narrow path requires one to be cleansed and washed by the blood of The LORD Jesus Christ, so that one is protected by the blood of The LORD Jesus Christ and the baptism/anointing of The Holy Spirit. Otherwise, due to one’s filthiness and the horrible darkness that covers one (them), they are bound to even crush their feet, because this path of The LORD is for those who have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb without defect (The LORD Jesus Christ).

This narrow path and the consequences of walking on it before Repentance of sins is well stated as follows as we have read: “Then the angel of The LORD stood in a narrow path through the vineyards, with walls on both sides. When the donkey saw the angel of The LORD, it pressed close to the wall, crushing Balaam’s foot against it. So he beat the donkey again.”

Isaiah the prophet of The LORD also discusses this narrow path in the book of Isaiah 35:8 which states as follows: “And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.”

That’s why when the power of The LORD came upon Balaam, his eyes were opened and he realized the horrible darkness he had been in and he now worshipped The LORD and Repented of his sins, as is stated as follows: ‘“Then The LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of The LORD standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.”’

He immediately repented when his sins were laid bare to him. So once his eyes were opened from the very horrible darkness he had been in, Balaam declared: “I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me.”

No wonder The LORD later says in the book of Revelation 3:17-18 which states: ‘“You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.”’

So, you/we find that Repentance in the Mighty name of The LORD Jesus Christ opens the way for one to proceed with their journey even though one takes to a new route in keeping with Repentance. This new route is the route of Righteousness, Holiness, Wisdom, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ.

On this new route, even how one speaks (including to the world) is based on Righteousness, Holiness, Wisdom, Truth and complete Surrender to The LORD. That’s why Balaam after Repenting of his sins, he couldn’t talk or reason like before. His speech was totally reformed, and his speech had to be the speech of The LORD. That’s why as we have read, as is stated: “Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.”

It is very important to note that when The LORD has set us free of/from our sins when we Repent before Him, we are a new creation and we depend not on our own human understanding (or material possession), but we now depend on the wise counsel, guidance, direction, comfort and help of The LORD: The Holy Spirit. We now don’t rely on our material possessions e.g. donkeys, to take us forward, but we now rely on The LORD to be able to move forward on the path of The LORD; as guided by The LORD. That’s why you/we find that Balaam while he was in the dark, he was relying on his material possession (donkey) to move him forward, not knowing that a roadblock had been stationed by The LORD to oppose his reckless path. This as we have read: ‘“Then the angel of The LORD moved on ahead and stood in a narrow place where there was no room to turn, either to the right or to the left. When the donkey saw the angel of The LORD, it lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat it with his staff.” But later on when his eyes had been opened and he Repented of his sins, The LORD told him: “Go with the men, but speak only what I tell you.”’

It also very important to note that The LORD speaks to us in various ways e.g. dreams, visions, physical manifestations, audible voice, The Bible and also through others (his servants, sons and daughters), but sometimes we choose to ignore what The LORD is speaking to us. Instead of focusing on the message The LORD is relaying across to us, due to our pride, we only focus on ourselves. This is the situation Balaam was in, and that’s why it is stated as follows: ‘“Then The LORD opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?” Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.” The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?”’

So, a time comes, and indeed has come upon the earth when The LORD is now calling upon all the people and the nations of the earth to heed to the call to Repentance and living in Righteousness, Holiness, Wisdom, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ in preparation for the very imminent coming of The LORD Jesus Christ to take His bride to Heaven (to rapture His bride).

The sad part is that majority of the people of the earth want to hear what their itching ears want to hear e.g. prosperity gospel; how to prosper here on the earth so that one can have a successful material possession, how one can just continue on with one’s usual reckless path since “The LORD will understand that one cannot be holy” and so one can praise The LORD while at the same time involved in witchcraft, drinking of alcohol, smoking of cigarettes, prostitution, watching pornography, gossiping, homosexuality, lesbianism, adultery, masturbation, fornication, playing  violent video games, participating in yoga, envy, cheating in exam, idolatry, false religion including Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age movement, Free Masonry, amongst many other forms of sins.

The LORD, He is God Almighty, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. The living God Almighty whose Kingdom is in Heaven.

I’m here to encourage you, urge you and beseech you that The LORD has now come to you/us with a message, and the message is: “I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.”

So, The LORD is also essentially saying therein: ‘“You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.”’

Therefore, what do you/we need to do now to be saved? You/we need to go before The LORD and declare the following (before Him): ‘“I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me.”’

The LORD will usher you/us to the narrow road, the road that leads to eternal life in the Kingdom of God Almighty in Heaven. This narrow road/path is the path of absolute Repentance, Righteousness, Holiness, Wisdom, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ. The LORD will forgive you/us your/our sins once you/we humble yourself/ourselves before Him in absolute Repentance. He will baptize you/us with the Power of The Holy Spirit; and The Holy Spirit will guide you/us, direct you/us, counsel you/us, comfort you/us and help you/us on this narrow path; because The LORD will open your/our eyes to the truth: His Truth. You/we will no longer walk on a reckless path before The LORD, but will now take to the highway of The LORD: The acceptable path before The LORD. The narrow road. The highway of Repentance. The highway of Righteousness. The highway of Holiness. The highway of Wisdom before The LORD The God of Heaven
