THE WISE MEN FROM THE EAST: “WHERE IS HE WHO HAS BEEN BORN KING OF THE JEWS? FOR WE HAVE SEEN HIS STAR IN THE EAST AND HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM.”

You will note that The LORD God Almighty, He put a visible (a very bright) star in the sky when The LORD Jesus Christ came to be born in human form in Bethlehem, Judea in Israel. So the star that symbolized the birth of The LORD Jesus Christ was visible up in the sky and infact, it later stopped at the place where The Messiah was born. At that particular point when the bright star was seen in the sky, a group of people referred to as: “Wise Men from The East” came forth. These wise men when they saw the bright star, they were able to know that a season had changed; and behold a new dawn (season) had arrived. These wise men therefore knew that a season had arrived for the arrival (birth) of The Messiah (The Saviour of The World) onto the earth; and it was time to go and worship the King of kings.

This is very powerfully captured in the book of Mathew 2: 1-2 which states as follows: ‘“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”’

One may ask himself/herself, “why were these people called: The Wise Men?  And we find the answer to this presumptive question in the book of Job 28:28 which states as follows:’ “And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.”’

Meaning that these Wise Men were a people who had received the revelation knowledge that for one to attain the stature of being considered Wise before The LORD, then they had to live in the Fear of The LORD. In other words, they had to live according to the guidance and direction of the wisdom that comes from the throne room of The LORD God Almighty in Heaven. Meaning once more that these wise men relied on the anointing of The Holy Spirit; Him who guided them, directed them, counseled them, controlled them, nourished them, inspired them, comforted them and helped them. For them, they were ONLY answerable to The Holy Spirit. Yet again, once more, meaning that they relied on a Heavenly counsel; a counsel that was beyond the earthly wisdom. Their wisdom thus had its origin from the Kingdom of The LORD God Almighty in Heaven; they were thus Heavenly wise.

These Wise Men were not from Israel, they were from another country. This means that they must have been gentiles, because we are later told in Mathew 2: 12 that: “Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.”

These wise men knew that this King of Jews was also the King of the entire world; and that He was coming to bring salvation not only to the Jews but to every mankind in the entire world, for those who will accept Him as LORD, Master and Saviour. They thus came before this King of the entire earth and worshipped Him and even offered a sacrifice before Him. A worship in Spirit and in Truth, a Holy, a Sanctified, a Refined and a Pure Sacrifice before The LORD; an acceptable form of worship and sacrifice before The LORD. This is very beautifully captured in the book of Mathew 2: 11 which states as follows: ‘“And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”’

What is shocking is that even though in Israel we had the Religious zealots of the time, who knew the law and the word of God, and were essentially the custodians of the law and the word of God, but they were not in tune really with the wisdom from The Throne Room of Heaven. That’s why the Wise Men from the East (another country; gentiles) had to come into Israel and arouse the interest of the Jews (The Israelites, plus their King and Religious Zealots) on what the word of God says about the coming of the Messiah. Actually the star was shining very brightly right within Israel, but the Jews (the Israelites) were so "blind" that they couldn't see it, until a people from outside had to come and essentially tell them that: "Look, there is a very Bright star shinning within you, can't you see it; for us we have seen it and we have come to witness it ourselves because we know what it means?" Meaning that only those (The Wise ones) whose spiritual eyes are opened through the wisdom of The LORD are able to see and decipher (understand/breakdown) the mysteries of The LORD God Almighty as pertains to the hour at hand.  This is what is currently happening again right now at this point in time, at this particular dispensation and will continue to do so even as The Messiah Jesus Christ comes to Rapture His Bride from the earth into Heaven. This scenario is very powerfully captured in the book of Mathew 2: 3-6 which states as follows: ‘“When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet:  ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’”

So you will note that when the LORD God Almighty presents a very bright star up in the sky; it signifies a change in the season; and the Wise Men of The LORD i.e. those who fear The LORD will be able to detect and infact will be overjoyed that: “Behold a new season has arrived and The Messiah Jesus Christ, The King of kings is Imminently Coming!!!” The LORD will also communicate with the Wise Men through dreams and even visions regarding the bright star (the heavenly signals of The LORD) and the path to follow afterwards when the bright star is now seen up in the sky i.e. The path of The LORD.

Meaning that The LORD God Almighty will always put forth Stars, The sky, The clouds, The moon (Red Blood Moon, Super moon etc), The sun and other Heavenly hosts e.t.c to relay forth His messages and to act as a Signpost of His messages, and yes indeed to act also as a pointer (a sign) towards the coming of the Messiah Jesus Christ. This is very beautifully captured in the book of Mathew 2: 9 which states as follows: ‘“When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.”’ 

When The LORD Jesus Christ comes to Rapture His Bride, will He find any Wise Men (and Women for that matter) on the earth, amongst the Gentiles and even the Jews? Let us Be amongst The Wise men (and Wise women for that matter) that are preparing the way for The glorious coming of The LORD Jesus Christ to Rapture His Bride into Heaven by embracing Repentance for the forgiveness of our sins and thereby walking in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ so that we may go and worship The KING of Kings.

Precious Jesus, 

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and savior of all mankind, 

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin. 

Please cover me with your precious blood, 

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness 

and write my name in your book of life 

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit 

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
