The LORD Bless you all my Brothers and Sisters from The SAME Father (Abba Father: Jehovah Elohim, Yahweh, The Great I AM, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).

Our Precious Father in Heaven does not need to write a Will for us (for He is everlasting and does not die). All He needs to do is to allocate and apportion our inheritance in Heaven according to what we have done as recorded in The Book: The Book of Life.

This Book of Life is updated every moment as pertains to the inheritance. So it can actually get better as we Serve The LORD and Worship The LORD. So to enhance your inheritance in Heaven, Serve The LORD in Purity, Faithfulness and Humility. Also worship The LORD in Truth and in Spirit.

Be Prayerful, Be Worshiping & Praising The LORD, Be Reading The Bible, Be Evangelizing & Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Be taking care of the Widows, the Orphans & the Poor, Be paying Tithes & Offerings (by presenting it before The LORD in God-fearing courses, missions and a Bible Believing & Teaching House of God or Mission of The LORD). When you do these, it will be like adding "materials" for enhancing and improving your inheritance in Heaven.

This starts with embracing Repentance for the forgiveness of your sins through The Precious Blood of The LORD Jesus Christ, and thereby walking in Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ; in Preparing The Way for The Coming of The LORD Jesus Christ to take His Bride (The Faithful Sons and Daughters of The LORD) to Heaven.

Remember, salvation is by faith, and not by works so that someone boasts. The other “ingredients” mentioned above, are just to “spice it up”, so that indeed your reward is to a higher level. Even though in Heaven, everyone is humble, but the Truth of the matter is that the Reward differs. Your sole and main obligation should be to enter into Heaven, then the Rest are “added advantage.”

The LORD Bless you Mightily once more my Precious Brothers and Sisters from The SAME Father (Abba Father).

Colossians 1: 1-12 ‘“that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”’

Romans 8: 12-17 ‘“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”’

Precious Jesus,

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and savior of all mankind,

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin.

Please cover me with your precious blood,

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness

and write my name in your book of life

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Your Brother in Christ and a Shepherded of The LORD,

Kevin Mirasi

  1. Do good works like serving your family count like cooking, shopping, cleaning the home, doing tasks for family, laundry, caring for sick children, helping out at the school, volunteering, putting others before yourself, teaching your kids how to read Bible and about God and how to pray and walk in spiritual life, well..should add..and firstly bearing the children, etc . .do they count also or not? ..

    1. Yes, even as they count, remember it starts with you accepting and believing In The LORD Jesus Christ as your LORD, Master and Saviour.

  2. I appreciate your message to seek to follow and obey the leading of the Spirit in our lives, but believe we have our full inheritance based on Christ's finished work - not based on what we do. This is dangerously close to the false gospel of works. Please clarify, as I honestly don't believe this is your intent. Our good works are a reflection of our gratitude for God's indwelling work - and as the sister above correctly reflects, they are the good works God brings to our daily path.

    1. ADDED NOTE: Remember, salvation is by faith, and not by works so that someone boasts.

    2. Just to clarify. .I do not believe that good works like serving others or even serving your own family 'saves you ' not at all.
Jesus blood only saves you and only He offers the free gift of salvation..freely to everyone..but I know there are 'rewards ' available to all when we get to heaven based on how much we 'served 'the Lord and I was just wondering if serving your own family would count towards that as well.
Saying that essentially you could have a 'mission ' right under your nose at home too. In addition to all the other ways you can serve the Lord by helping widows and orphans, helping clothe people at your church or donating clothes to local charities etc. .like you don't need to be a 'missionary ' or some preacher to get rewarded. .but that where ever you're planted, you could still bring glory to God in the everyday tasks as well as the other tasks of sharing His love in the community at large.
I hope that clarifies my question.
I just wanted to know if motherhood. .and fatherhood etc counted towards rewards because it is a big role and responsibility also. And it does take up a large part of your daily life as well. (That is if it applies to you -these roles and responsibilities ).

    3. Like for instance, my mom, she raised a large family and that's what took up her time. .but yet. .she taught us about The Lord and His Ways. .so was just wondering cuz not everyone can do full time 'visible' to people ministries and wanted to know that when she or even I, for instance, stand before the Lord, would I have any rewards available to me since primarily that's what I am in the Lord now. Parenting is a full time 'calling' too.

  3. Thank you brother Ķevin for bringing up this very interesting issue. There is much confusion on what the good works are. You have rightly highlighted the main things to focus on. The confusion comes because of a lack of knowledge of how God empowers us in our daily walk with him.

The mystery of the gospel of Christ is alluded to throughout the OT, and the NT declares this truth in its numerous verses. Unfortunately, the great body of theological teaching of the reformed Protestant Evangelical faith (although being very good at preaching the good news of salvation and summing up the teaching of the bible) has been weak on the particular point of how we are to victoriously, successfully walk in the true light of Christ.

If you take the many verses of the bible and put them together to see the main message they proclaim, we then begin to see this mystery, which is simply the pure gospel of Christ.

Take Matthew 11:28-30, for instance: "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. "

Many Christians would use this verse to state that Christ gives us rest when we are weary from all of our work - when we have been to busy to focus on the spiritual. A slightly better interpretation is that Christ gives rest to those who have been oppressed or abused by evil, oppressive or abusive people or situations - think perhaps of those who have suffered under the Communist regime in North Korea, or perhaps women who have been in an abusive relationship, or situations of sexual abuse like child-slavery, or rape.

But this verse really points to a core spiritual truth, the same truth that becomes evidently clear once you begin to take the verses of the bible and put them together in one unified message - all pointing to Jesus.

  4. The greatest misconception is that Christ's suffering, death and act of loving sacrifice on the cross is our motivation for our God works. This is not inaccurate per se, but often that is the end, the sum total of the teaching on how to continue in good works... by remembering the price Jesus paid to save our souls, thereby gaining motivation to live righteousnessly for him.

We pay lip service to the Holy Spirit by saying that the Spirit indwells us, thereby giving us power to live in the spirit, in good works, in the light of Christ. Often we see good works as the outward acts that we can easily talk about. But, the real good works we should primarily focus on are the fruits of the Holy Spirit, first and foremost. All other works then follow on naturally from there. If you are growing in the love, the joy, the peace (etc) of the true & living God, you will naturally do these other things mentioned above in other posts, including being a faithful father or mother (or dishwasher or toilet-cleaner in the church or at work, for that matter). But how then do we live in the spirit and grow in the fruits of the Holy Spirit?

We must stop striving to come to God with our own good works to be pleasing to God (our labour and religious rules that heavily burden us). We must be humble enough to simply take the way (yoke) Jesus provides which is actually the easiest way (and only true and accepted way), but also the hardest because of our own pride.

That yoke and burden of Christ is simply humbling ourselves in total surrender to God's will and having faith in the power of God to guide us into all righteousness of Christ (Christ now living in me because I have crucified the flesh and pride and self-righteousness), just as Christ (even as a human like us) was enabled to live in full, and fulfil all, righteousness by the power of the Spirit, as he surrended his will to the will of the Father.

In other words, Christ is not only our motivation, he is the solid basis of our faith in God to complete his good work in us, just as he did in Christ (even though he is also God, he shows us the way, in his absolute humanity).

So take his yoke upon you and learn of his meekness, lowliness of heart and total humility in surrendering his will to the Father. There is no other way.

Yes, in one respect, it is by virtue of Christ's finished work that we are now justified. But it is by virtue of Christ living in us now, that we can live in the righteousness of Christ. Our rewards then, are not based on the outward works (on that day some will say, "Lord, Lord, have we not... but Christ will declare he never knew them). Our rewards are founded on the works of Christ's righteousness working in us by the Spirit's power. This is why in heaven we will cast our crowns before the throne of God, because we glorify Jesus.

But I do believe that there will be other rewards, as alluded to in the original post.

So let us seek first his kingdom and ***his righteousness***! Let us deny ourselves, take up our cross *daily*, and follow Christ Jesus. He must increase, but I must decrease, as John the Baptist declared (will not this same spirit of the prophet John, and of Elijah, be seen again in these days?).
