An Assuring Dream Where I Saw Jesus Christ

I know this dream was directly meant for me but anyhow I have decided to post it if it will touch, prepare and encourage somebody; especially the watchers and end-time laborers in the harvest field of God Almighty.

On the night of 22nd December 2011, I had a dream. And in this dream I found myself in a room. And in this room, were people sited. I then started telling them about Jesus Christ and the imminent coming of the LORD Jesus Christ to rapture His bride. They then started opposing the messages to the point where they almost became violent. But I stood adamant in the dream about the message of the imminent coming of Jesus Christ to rapture His bride and the need to prepare in absolute Repentance, Righteousness, Holiness and full surrender to the LORD Jesus Christ.

And then the dream ended.

Later on in the night, I had another short dream. And in this dream, I was in the midst of a small gathering of Christians/congregation in an open compound. We were deliberating on some issues: the one I can remember was on the choir and how to get songs for praise and worship. And then the time to pray reached and I closed my eyes in the dream. And then with my eyes closed, I saw somebody. And this person appeared suddenly in front of me and He was on a horse. He had a very serious look on His face but an assuring demeanor. When I saw Him, I knew instantly that He was Jesus Christ. He didn’t say any word to me but he kept looking/staring at me and I could sense that He came to assure me that He is always with me to protect me and to comfort me any time I need comfort especially at this end of times we are living in where evil has tremendously increased and the attacks from the enemy (evil forces) is at an all time high. I then woke from the dream.

Mark 13:12-13 “Brother will betray brother to death and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

Psalm 91-14-15 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”

Psalm 12: 17-8 “The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

John 15:18-25 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.  Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.  They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me.  If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.  Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.  If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.  But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.”

Christ's return is NOT imminent !

    by Bruce Rockwell

(Pretrib rapturists claim that Christ's return is imminent, that is, capable of occurring at any moment. Theologian and pastor Norman MacPherson, in his excellent book "Triumph Through Tribulation," offers proof that the Bible has never taught an any-moment return of Christ. Here are the points brought out and discussed at length by MacPherson:)

    1. Great Commission fulfillment implies a long period of time.
    2. Seed growth in Matthew 13 is a time-consuming process.
    3. Paul expected death, not rapture, in II Timothy 4:6-8.
    4. Jesus predicted Peter's martyrdom in John 21:18-19.
    5. Matthew 24 teaches that signs must come first.
    6. Many passages speak of a large interval between Christ's ascension and return: Jewish dispersion into "all nations" (Luke 21); "man travelling into a far country," "after a long time the lord of those servants cometh" (Matthew 25).
    7. Apostasy of last days takes time to develop.
    8. Bridegroom tarried in parable of virgins.
    9. Pastoral epistles teach Church's continuing ministry, which involves time.
    10. Paul says Christ's coming is not imminent (II Thessalonians 2:1-3), for apostasy and Antichrist must come first.
    11. View of seven phases of church history (seven churches of Revelation) involves big lapse of time and imminence difficulties for pre-tribs; could Christ have come before the last phase?
    12. Exhortations to watch and be ready are tied to what pre-trib teachers regard as the second stage (which is necessarily non-imminent) in Matthew 24 and 25, I Corinthians 1:7, Colossians 3:4, I Thessalonians 3:13, II Thessalonians 1:7-10, I Peter 1:13 and 4:13, and I John 2:28.

(How can an "imminent" return of Christ have a greater practical effect on us than the indwelling of the Holy Spirit already has, or should have, on us? For more on pretrib beliefs and history, Google "Pretrib Rapture - Hidden Facts," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy," "Pretrib Rapture Diehards," "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty," "Roots of Warlike Christian Zionism," "Letter from Mrs. Billy Graham," and - with the 2012 election in mind - "Pretrib Rapture Politics.")

  2. @ Rocky2, thanks for taking time to write to me on this. When the disciples asked Jesus Christ about what the signs of His coming would be. Jesus Christ answered in Mathew 24:4-14 “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

It is important to note that the part that talks about being handed to be persecuted would be after the Rapture i.e. it would be during the Great Tribulation. And I believe when we watch our news today we hear of wars and rumors of wars, nations rising against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms, earthquakes in various places, famines and of course deception even in the house of God by the false preachers, false prophets, false apostles etc.

And you may say that these things have been happening in the past!!! But I have got news for you; when you read Revelation chapter 6 you find the 7 seals (including the 4 apocalyptic horsemen). These 7 seal are actually the calendar of the countdown to the end times. The 4 seals when they are opened, the 4 horsemen are released and when the 5th seal is opened, it find when rapture has already taken place. Actually the opening of the 5th seals occurs when the persecution of the Great Tribulation has started to take place. God Almighty Jehovah raised an end-time prophet (Prophet Dr.David Owuor) to witness and prophesy the actual opening of these seals. And so far as at now Jehovah God Almighty has shown him the prophesy of the opening of these seals and their actual fulfillment has taken place. Google "horseman in Egypt" so that you see how, when and where the 4th and the last horseman, the pale horse was released.
And so let nobody deceive you that we still have time. No, time is absolutely over and the coming of the LORD Jesus Christ to rapture His bride is imminent. 5th seal is not yet opened, and when it will be opened it will find when rapture shall have taken place. The Anti-Christ who will be the leader of the satanic system during the Great Tribulation (after the rapture) is now alive and strategically positioned awaiting his unveiling.

  3. Shalom!
Every Christian that is ready for the Rapture and is remaining in Christ, the timing is secondary. In all ages the Rapture was imminent, That has nothing to do with the date of the Rapture, but with the Rapture of the dead in Christ. They will be raptured first. The one that died 2000 years ago, his Rapture would be in 2 days (eternal time), surely imminent.
To set a date for the Rapture till now was wrong and even prophets fooled themselves, because scripture says, we do not know day and hour, so to find out is in the beginning wrong.
The times and seasons we can know, as Paul told the Thessalonians, and we are in the last days. Somebody asked the Lord, what is right: Pretrib, Midtrib or Posttrib? The Lord answered: "The dead will rise first." So if we know about the resurrection, we will know when the Rapture will be. If the First Resurrection is the main harvest of 3 resurrections (1 Cor 15:23) and the Greek word "protos" proofs it, than we know (Rev 20:4+5).
To set a time according to revelation is difficult, because we do not know when the seals begin. It seems to me that the seals, trumpets and vials begin at a different time, but they end altogether at the coming of the Lord. This is the birth after the birthpains at the Day of the Lord, who begins after the Tribulation (Matt 24:29,30) together with Joel 2:30,31 and Acts 2:20.
2.Thess 2:1-4 confirms that the Rapture is not before the Great Tribulation.
The Lord himself gave us the timing in Matt 24 and this goes together with the seals. He gave us also a sign, a cosmic blackout before the Rapture. He told us (through the disciples)what we can expect, He said that the end will not be immidiately, but who will endure till the end, will be saved.
If there is an escape through refuge places or how we will be protected one or the otherway, is another questian.
